Title:  Night Knows No Witness

Disclaimer: I don’t own Lina, Xel, or Slayers, but I’m not sad ‘cause I own the universe as you know it. Bow to me puny human...or not...not’s okay...

Notes: I can’t believe I wrote this. {Blush} It’s all the fault of that Evil Hentai Slug, he’s elected me to be the ambassador of hentainess and forced me to write.

Notes from Evil Hentai Slug: {beaming with pride} Admittedly, I did influence the Miko’s mind with my great hentainess, but this is still her first lemon, so be kind in your criticism...or you’ll be next! Bwa-ha-ha...I mean...slug noises, yes that’s it.

Warnings: lemon, borderline PWP (I think), may induce possession by Evil Hentai Creatures

Night Knows No Witness

Lina concentrated fiercely on the ancient text before her. Power. Nightmare magic. Control. It all lay open to be taken in by her eyes. To think simple words could harness the chaos sea and bring it into the hands of a human, her hands. Lina once again replaced the candle on the desk, late as it was, sleeping was out of the question. She needed this, it was the key to filling the void in her soul. Her destiny.

Startling Lina out of her study, there came a sharp knock on the chamber door. Unknowing of who else would be awake at such a ghastly hour, she cautiously turned the knob simultaneously recalling the exact phrase to summon a flare arrow, but it was promptly forgotten. On her threshold stood the one and only trickster priest, Xellos Metallium.

“Xellos,” she sighed, “what are you doing here?” Lina resumed her former seat, ready to ignore the intrusion.

“Yare, yare, Lina-chan,” he smiled happily, “I just saw your light burning and wondered if you were lonely.”

“I’m not lonely Xellos, I’m busy,” to prove her point, Lina picked up a pen and hastily scratched down some notes.

“Oh, I think you are Lina-chan,” he moved to peer over her shoulder. “With nothing but this musty book to keep you company.”

“This ‘musty book’ will save us! It’s what we’ve been searching for.”

“Demo Lina-chan, I am much more interesting, ne?”

The sorceress tensed as he ran a gloved hand gently through her hair, resting it on her armor. Skillfully, he undid the clasp and slipped off her cape, letting it slide to the floor.

“What do you think you’re doing!” Lina jumped up to face the smiling mazoku. “I have to get this figured out. This isn’t some two-bit treasure hunt, he’s a darklord!”

“Nothing you need then, Lina-chan?” A most insincere frown lit on his face.

“I need to finish this,” she answered flatly.

As Lina stepped back toward the desk, Xellos blocked her way. “Is that all you need?”

At her quizzical expression, he leaned down to kiss her gently on the lips. His kind gesture was met sharply with a smack to his cheek.

“How dare you,” his assaulter hissed.

“How kind you are Lina-chan,” leaning down, he again pressed his lips to hers and was once again rewarded with a resounding smack to the face. It was turning out to be quite a fun game, but he wasn’t here for games.

“Out Xellos.” Glaring from under red bangs, Lina motioned to the door.

The priest stepped forward to pin Lina against the wall, holding her body in place with his own. His left hand gripped both of her small wrists above her to prevent magic. Kissing her again, he looked into her eyes, no fear.

“Still want me to leave?”

“Yes. I need to concentrate.”

“Concentrate on this Lina-chan.” With that, he captured her lips once more, with more forcefulness. She responded slightly, giving him a glimmer of hope. “Still Lina-chan?”

“Yes.” Less sure that time, almost there.

Lifting her chin, Xellos proceeded as he had before, this time he ran his tongue along her lips and gained the entrance he desired, releasing the wrists he held captive. The freed hands found their way into his perfect purple hair and contented themselves to be buried in it. Both participants lost themselves to the kiss until forced to come up for air.

“Now, what did you need Lina-chan?” The trickster inquired.

“I need...I need you Xellos.”

Lifting Lina in his arms, Xellos laid her gently on the inn bed. Their eyes met as he removed his own cloak and gloves, careless as they found their way to the dusty floor. That done, he sat lightly beside his rapt audience, gathering her small form into his arms once more, he kissed her passionately.

Debating momentarily if this was the right thing, Lina pulled away. She had responsibilities...the world. Xellos opened his eyes to study her curiously. Losing herself in the deep amethyst pools, Lina decided the world would have to wait.

The priest placed a trail of butterfly kisses down her neck, pushing aside her collar for better access. Moaning, she rolled back her head, making no protest as he removed her shirt. She wanted Xellos, knew she needed this, and that was fine with him.

Lina found herself devested of all articles of clothing, and laying on the bed, displayed for only his eyes. Xellos smiled, comfortably familiar, yet on the edge of evil as well. Lina’s curiosity at the strangeness was totally forgotten as he ran a warm hand up the side of her leg to her chest, pausing to cup one breast gently. He noticed a blush spread across her cheeks, how naive, still, it only increased his desire for her.

Continuing it’s journey, his hand played softly across her lips, he replaced it with a kiss. Sitting back, he admired the jewel before him, young, but only in years.

“You’re beautiful Lina.” He continued to caress her with whispering touches. A stroke of a thigh, a feather light brush across her stomach, one after another , driving her wild. All teasing. The sorceress watched through half-lidded eyes as her lover admired her, filled with ecstasy even at this but needing more.

Xellos sensed her impatience, as was his nature he left it unheeded. Using his tongue he dabbed behind her ear, trailing down to nip lightly at her collar bone, eliciting a moan. With a smile he worked lower, running his tongue across the peak of her breast and pausing to blow cool air too, sending chills across her body and awakening a desire as never before.

“Please Xellos,” Lina rasp, almost begging for mercy, for completion of the dance they had begun only minutes before.

“Please what, Lina-chan?” What fun this was! The mighty Lina Inverse at his will. Though this small girl beneath him, flushed with desire, held little resemblance to the murderer of the great Shabernigdo-sama. Briefly he contemplated leaving her like this, but then realized he too wished for this.

Momentarily stepping form the brink of passion, Lina grabbed his shoulders and pulled herself up to look into his eyes. Gaining a position of authority she spoke, “Now Xellos! No more games, after all, the world can only wait so long.” Using her own body as a counterweight, she pushed the priest down beneath her.

“Always have to be in control don’t you,” he quipped. Sitting across his hips, she ran her small hands under his beige shirt, pushing it over his head to reveal a sculpted chest. One finger ran up and down the hairless skin there. Xellos smiled. Lina smiled. Sitting back, she stuck one hand under the waistband of his pants, he only lifted an eyebrow as invitation. Accepting, she pulled them completely away revealing his manhood, erect and waiting. Placing both hands on his abdomen she took the organ into her mouth. Drawing her lips up and down she applied light pressure, listening for his small moans and repeating where they occurred. Feeling him twitch she removed her mouth, gaining satisfaction from the sound of disappointment. Watching the reaction in his open eyes she playfully flicked her small pink tongue over the tip. Leaning forward and applying pressure with her lower body, she looked directly into his flushed face.

“Why Xellos?” Her voice was serious.

“Why what, Lina-chan?” Always innocent, just a traveler, even as his breath came shallow and erratic.

“Why this, why tonight, why me?”

“Uncertainty doesn’t suit you...” wrapping and arm around her slim waist, he rolled over her so they were centered and he was on top once again, “...chaos would be better. Why this? Because I enjoy primal instincts. Why tonight? Because the mood is right. Why you? Now that is a secret.” His eyes remained open giving the statement an eerie feel.

“Xel--” Her words were cut off as he covered her swollen lips with is own. His hand found its way to her most intimate place, as experienced fingers rubbed and stroked, all conversation was forgotten. Her moans of pleasure alerted him to his own needs. Pulling back he ignored her whimper and positioned himself between her legs. There was no turning back. With a feral growl he entered her in a single stroke. His eyes blazed with amethyst glory as he moved within her creating a rhythm of passion, both were caught between wanting an ending and the desire for eternity together. Faster, they reached the precipice. A magic aura, stemming form the great power held by each, surrounded their bodies as they crossed the edge into white bliss, pure light, everything and nothing in the same moment.

“Need anything else, Lina-chan?” he asked. Shaking her head, Lina was too asleep to his final whisper, “Because I love you.”

Lina woke leaning over the dusty spell book, fully dressed ,and very alone.

“Damn it!” she swore to the empty room. It was all a dream. Standing, she heard a knock at the door. “Come in,” she snapped.

“Bad night Lina-san?” Xellos asked cheerfully slipping into the room.

“Yes, and you are the last person I want to see, so get out!” She yelled, not needing an all to real reminder of her imagined night. Tears threatened her eyes as she threatened the priest.

“So, nothing you need then Lina-chan?” And with a smile he was gone.

Picking up the ancient text Lina found a small note marking the page, opening it a thousand questions filled her mind as she read the words.
