Wake-up Call

"Lina! Lina! Please get up! Come on! Don't die on me now!"

Zelgadis pleaded over Lina's bloody body. She opened her eyes and looked around, but couldn't say a thing.

"Don't worry Lina! I'll get you out of here! Just hang on!"

Zel put up his hands and recited the most powerful spell he had.

"Source of all soul who dwell in the internal and infinite. Everlasting flame of blue. Let the power hidden within my soul be called forth here from the infinite! RA TILT!"

The beam shot at the four trolls, which had got them by surprise. Quickly, Zelgadis took Lina in his arms and ran as fast as possible to the next town. His demon speed and alertness got him there in no time. Zel ran into the first Inn he saw and ordered a room immediately. The clerk behind the desk couldn't help but notice the young, near death, girl in his arms. He reluctantly handed him the key as Zelgadis sped up the stairs. He entered the room, almost forgetting to close the door. He laid Lina's cold body on the bed and decided to do a Recovery spell.

Damn Amelia, Slyphiel, and Gourry for going to that play at the Atlas kingdom. They would meet back up in four days, and now this happened.

Zel went over to do the spell when he felt a cold hand on his.

"It's... no use... Zel. I'm dying...to.....fa..st."

Her words were followed by blood running down her mouth. Tears followed that as the pain increased.

"No Lina! Don't talk like that. Just let me do this spell."

Lina looked ay Zel and said in the weakest voice he had ever heard, "Zel, before I die I.... want you to know how... much I.... love ..... yo..u. I loved you ever since.... we became .... friends and I'll ..... always love you af....ter death. Good.....bye.....Zelgad....i..s,"

Zel couldn't believe his ears. How could she love him too? He felt exactly the same way.

"Nooo! I will not let you leave me!"

Zel knew two spells he could do to help her. One, the Recovery. Two, it was called the Power Share. It was when the caster would put half of his or her power in the person to make them stronger. He did the Recovery that it easily healed the wound in Lina's stomach.

Zelgadis thought to himself about what happened.

We were walking in the woods and talking about ancient legends and monsters. Just then, the trolls popped out of nowhere and one of them slashed her right across her stomach. She didn't even have time to react.

He thought of the next spell and quickly did it. "Strongest energy that lays inside myself. Come forth and restore the woman Lina Inverse who lay in front of me. POWER SHARE!"

A blue beam shot out of his hand and went into Lina. Zel let out a very low groan of pain from the energy that was being taken out of him. The room lit up like a Christmas tree and people outside pointed at the at the light through the window. Then it was over. Sweat fell from Zelgadis as he fainted on the floor next to the bed where Lina was sound asleep.

The late evening sun showered down on Zel's chimeric form. The stones glistened in the rays as Zel moved his head around. He opened his eyes and looked up. To his surprise. Lina was awake and looking down at him.

"Lina? Lina! Your okay! How long have you been up?"

Lina smiled at his concern for her. "Oh, about two hours before you. I've been thinking. Zelgadis, I can't tell you how grateful I am. How could I possibly repay you?"

Zel stood up and sat next to her on the bed. "Lina you don't have to ever repay me. What you told me last night about your feelings for me repayed me in many more ways than one. I just think you deserve better than a chimera."

Lina managed a weak smile. "Zel. Look at me"

He turned his head around. Tears brimmed under his eyes as he said, "Don't ever do that again, Lina. If you would die, than what reason would I have for living."

To his surprise Lina had her hand on his face. "Theres nothing wrong with you, Zel.. Your shy, yet very tough. I'll admit it, you've changed ever since we have met up after killing Copy Rezo. You are more outspoken and more independent and you don't take a lot of things people do or say. Especially Xellos."

The name made Zel's blood run cold. Zelgadis looked at his hands and shook his head. "Lina... how could you love a freak?"

Lina's expression turned to a frown as she saw the hurt and despair on his face. " I see the the most handsome.. man.. alive."

Before Zelgadis knew what happened, their lips had meet. Then they were on the bed with Zel on top. Lina took Zel's shirt and cape off as Zel did the same to her. Then, Zel broke away and said, "Lina, I feel like I'm taken advantage of you in your weakened condition. Maybe we should stop."

He got up from the bed, but Lina pulled him down with her on him and her kness on each side of his waist. She leaned down and kissed him hard then separated.

"How's that for weakened condition. Remember Zel, I have half of your energy."

That's when it happened. Zelgadis grabbed Lina's shoulders as Lina's long, flowing, fiery hair went around his face like a red weeping willow tree.

Am I ready for this? I mean, I've known him for so long. Yes, I am ready, but it isn't supposed to be this tense and he is so nervous. Poor Zel. He is so shy. I'll ease up on him.

Zel's hands were tightly around Lina's waist. Lina's arms were the same around Zel's back. Zelgadis then turned Lina back around with him on top again. After a while he was relaxed with what was going on.

Okay, this getting nowhere!

Her hands then went around Zel's pants as she slowly started to take them off.

Wait a minute! Maybe we really shouldn't do th.......

He was cut short when he noticed he had taken all of her clothes off. Zel kissed Lina gently across her neck and chest. He slowly made his way down her body, making her let out erotic moans. He brought his lips to hers as her tongue entered his mouth. He responded with his and indulged his tongue deep in her throat.

What is this feeling? This aggression inside of me. It must be the Mazoku side of me.

Lina also noticed the change. His kisses became harder and his grip much tighter. Zelgadis then entered Lina with such force, it made her yell out. She moaned with each thrust and with each movement Zel became bolder. His stone skin felt slick and cool against her sweaty body. Through her weakened voice, Lina called out his name. Her body burned up inside. Lina followed the rhythm with every move he made. Zel dominated over Lina's body and too followed her movements. Lina's grip became more tighter around Zel's back as he thrusted more and more.

I can't stand it any longer! This aggression has to come out! Zelgadis then pinned Lina's wrist down on the bed as he went into her deeper and with more force. Lina winced with every thrust as Zelgadis took away her virginity, as she did his. Lina cried out his name again as he thrusted harder into her. She cried her first tears of joy that night and it was with Zel. She felt helpless with her wrist pinned down.

Why am I being this aggressive with her? I need to ease up on her. God Zel! Can you not control hormones!

I didn't know pain could be so pleasurable.

Zel settled down to a slower rythmatic movement. He whispered her name in her ear. Making it come out long and and seductive. Lina arched her back up as Zel kissed her lips and and neck. Lina then gripped the sweat-soaked sheets of the bed as her body came to a full climax.

Then everything went quiet except for the the steady breathing of Zelgadis and Lina. Their hearts beated in unison as they gazed into each others eyes. Lina noticed the warm smile that crossed his face. She smiled back up at him, eyes weary and very tired. With the movements stopped, and the room peaceful, Zelgadis reached up and gently brushed Lina's hair out of her face. He lightly traced the outline of her lips with his index finger as he slowly went down to kiss them. It seemed to last for hours and when they separated Zel got on his side, while Lina snuggled next to to him. He protectively put his arm around her and gently stroked her hair.

She peacefully fell asleep upon Zel's chest as Zelgadis gently rested his chin on her head. Zel stared out the window, looked down, smiled, and said very softly, for not to wake her, he said, "Lina. I swear that I'll Let nothing bad happen to you again." With those words, Zelgadis closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Who the hell could that be this time of night!" Lina was obviously frustrated. She turned around and kissed Zel awake.

"I can get used to that wake-up call every morning," Zel mumbled tiredly.

Lina smirked and said, "Well, my wake-up call wasn't so pleasant. Zel, someone's at the door."

Zel listened to the knocking. "Who could it be? Gourry maybe?"

Lina shook her head. "No. They won't be back till three days."

"Well, then lets get dressed and see who it is."

They quickly got dressed, leaving their capes off. Zel went to the door with Lina by his side. He gave her a confused look.

"Zel. We're going to have to open it sooner or later."

With that, Zel slowly unlocked the door and opened it cautiously. Zel and Lina them looked up in the doorway to see........
