Chapter 1

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

A tall young woman walked down the street of the little mountain village, heading to the local market. It was late in the season but she hoped to find one more batch of strawberries so she could bake some shortcake for her little friend at home. She was a tall woman with a pretty face and hair that hung down in long raven coloured tresses that recalled the “midnight waterfall” so beloved of the poets. She had large piercing Cerulean blue eyes that were like deep pools, and which made many who looked into them wish to drown themselves in them for the rest of their lives. She was wearing a stylish dress of a plain design, and a warm cloak. It was plain enough, but it fit her well, and looked very pretty and feminine. As she walked along she was planning whether or not they could get in a ski trip later in the winter to go to some places nearby that had magical items which could only be collected in winter.

I enter the town wearing my usual outfit of a leather thong bikini, knee high boots, garter belt on my right thigh, spiked shoulder guards, a duel cape, mid upper arm gloves, and my trademark ruby and gold tiara. I decide to stop and see if I could get some food and drink at the tavern when I bump into another woman. I stumble and cut myself without realizing it.

“Oh! Pardon me...” said the first girl, stepping aside to let the bizarre woman past. She couldn’t help but feel that there was something familiar about her, but she wasn't sure she wanted to know...

“Humph!” I declare as I get up. It is then that I notice the blood on my hand. I faint…

“Oh my! Wh-what happened?” the other woman said in fear. "Miss, uh, Miss? Are you alright?" she said, trying to revive the fallen woman.

I come to and see the blood again. Even though it is very little in amount I faint, again…

Totally at a loss, the young woman called for help. A couple of men approached and asked what was wrong. "I-I don't know, she bumped in to me then fell down and won't wake up, oh my!!!" she said.

I come to once again. This time I manage to avoid looking at my hand. I say “It’s the blood. Get it off of me, please.”

“What? Uh, the blood???” said the young woman, noticing the small cut for the first time. She sighed as she fished around and found a cloth from somewhere. She then wiped the offending red streak off. “P-pardon me Miss, but, who are you?” she asked, as the men walked away.

I reply indignantly “I am the fearsome and powerful sorceress Naga the White Serpent. I am the one known as Lina Inverse's greatest and most powerful rival!”

The young woman looked perplexed and asked "WH-who...? " Then her eyes opened in shock. "M-Mother?" she asked quietly.

I give her a deadpan look and say in a slightly dangerous voice “What are you talking about? I am no ones mother, how dare you.”

The young woman stared then spoke. "The mirror, the Shadow Projection mirror...” Suddenly she reached out and took the other woman’s face in her hands, gently but insistently turning it so she could see it more clearly. She let go with a gasp. “It IS you! The one I'm copied from! My Mother! Or, at least, my mother image...”

I look at you and say “No, it can't be…”

I slowly remove your cloak and look at your face. I get red with anger and fear “Get back! I cry as I step back away from you.

The women sank to her knees and plead "Don't hurt me!" Her fear was obvious.

In fear from the shock I say “Don't hurt me, please; I am too beautiful to die.”

The young woman picked up on the fear. “B-but you are the strong and beautiful one, how can you be afraid of me, Majesty?” she asked, addressing Naga by her title, since “Mother” seemed to upset her...

Being called “Majesty” makes me faint again as I scream “NOOOOOOOOOOO”

The young woman shook Naga awake again and fearfully asked “I-I'm so sorry, what did I do wrong?”

I snap “Don't you ever call me that again!”

“WH-what? Majesty, what shouldn't I call you?” was the timid response.

“That, that “Majesty” crap! I am no queen or princess!” I yell at her.

“Huh? But aren't you...?” she asked.

“I am an evil sorceress!” I declare loudly.

“Oh? Oh! Odd, I remember all about you up to the time I was made, and then we went our own ways. Um, when did you become evil?” asked the perplexed clone woman.

“I have always been evil.” I harrumph. I mean really, get a clue, lady…

“No you haven't, you haven’t. I know you, remember? You are not evil. Oh, I know you are trying to look evil, to fool everyone, is that what you meant?" asked the young woman. “But really, you are such a nice person inside, I know, remember? Why? Why do you want to make people think you are a bad girl?”

I look around and see a crowd gathering. I grab the woman’s hand and cast a “Ray-wing” spell, then fly us to an empty field. “What are you doing? Are you trying to ruin my reputation?” I cry to this other, um, me...

Her eyes opened wide with puzzlement "Reputation? You… oh my, oh my, you really think people think you are evil? Mommy, I’m sorry, but I get things said to me that are meant for you all the time, because of how I look! Mother! You are a fearsome enough sorceress, but you are also a bit of a laughing stock! Why do you think you are evil?" she asked, totally confused.”

I sputter. “WHAT?”

“Well? Don't you know? Some people like Lina better than you and they make fun of you. It hurts, mother, both me and my dear copy Lina, we hurt for you, you are such a nice person inside, and we don't understand why you do it. I feel your pain because your own mother was killed, but I'm not you, I'm your opposite, I don't really understand. I wish that I did..." said the copy girl.

I don’t understand why her words get to me, but I start to cry. I feel the pain for the loss of mommy, and for the first time after all these year I cannot hold back the tears.

“M-mother? Mother? What's wrong? Mother!" said the copy girl, feeling very timid again. She gingerly put her hand on Naga’s shoulder, not knowing how to comfort the grieving woman.

I cried out from the pain in my soul “MOMMY! I AM SO SORRY I DID NOT SAVE YOU! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!”

Not knowing what else to do the copy gave her a big hug and cried as well. She said "Mommy, I didn't mean to upset you by mentioning this, I didn't. I-I'm sorry, don't cry please, mommy, don't cry..."

The tears dry up as time goes by, but I have an emotional breakdown to the point where I cannot talk at all.

Still afraid, both of, and for, Naga, copy Naga asked timidly "W-would you like to come home with me and rest?"

I nod “Yes.”

The copy put her arm around Naga, and lead her off over the fields, towards her house.

I am shaking lightly, unable to stop.

"Are, are you cold mommy? You are shaking so much..." asked the copy woman.

I shake my head “No.”

"C-can I do anything? Anything at all?" she asked.
I shrug, unsure myself.

The copy Naga didn't know what else to do, so she led Naga on, her head down, trying to think. What was she going to do with this woman? And what would dear copy Lina think?

I follow you. As we walk I try to say I am sorry for overreacting, but I cannot speak.

After several worried glances at you, the copy girl says, softly “I-I must have hurt you with what I said. I am so sorry...”

I squat down at a patch of dirt and write what I was trying to say but can’t, because of my voice being gone.

The copy read what was written, and started to cry softly. "M-mommy, I know I'm not your child by the usual way, but I want you to know, I've loved you from my creation onward, even if it was by bad magic. I've never had the chance to say it before. I don't know how you feel about me, maybe you still hate me like you did when I was made, but I still love you..."

I write that maybe I can grow to love her like my child by the time I am better…

The copy girl gave her a smile. “Okay, mommy.” she said. She took her hand and led her on towards home.

I follow with a tear in my eye.

After a short walk in silence we come to a little house. It is beginning to get towards evening, still plenty of daylight, but it feels like the day is getting old. In other words, it'll soon be supper time.

My stomach growls loudly…

“Okay, here we are..." said the copy. She opened the door and called out "Lina?" There was no answer. "Oh, that's right; she was going to go for a walk in the woods to gather herbs and mushrooms. Well, she'll be back later. Please, sit here mommy, and I'll get up some tea to start, and then get supper going."

I nod, sit down, and look around.

It's a simple enough place really. The girls live comfortable, but obviously quietly. But then, they are the opposite personalities to Naga and Lina. The copy bustled around and quickly, got the fire up, then started the kettle heating. She next went to the pantry to get the tea. "Would you like black, green, or an herbal tea?" she asks.

I mouth the words “herbal tea”, and get mad at myself.

Copy Naga nodded and turned to get some mint. She didn’t see Naga’s anger.

I slam my hand down on the arm of the chair, almost breaking it in anger at my loss of voice.

Copy Naga gave a start and turned around fast. "Mother? Are you hurt? What's wrong?"

I mouth I can’t talk and it is making me so mad. I have a very pissed off look on my face…

Copy Naga came and said "Mommy, please don't be mad." She looked at Naga with concern. Suddenly she slapped her head. "Oh I’m so stupid not to see you were so hurt. I thought it was a momentary thing. Here, let me see, I do sort of remember your white magic training, maybe I can help." She put her hand gently on Naga’s throat and muttered a spell. "Healing!" she commanded.

Of course nothing happened…

“Oh no, wait, I’ve not done this before like this, I forgot something.” she said, nervously, and then she repeated the spell. This time white light and soothing warmth washed over Naga’s neck, inside and out.

I try to talk and find that I can! “I am so relieved, thank you so much!”

The copy girl smiled back and said "I'm glad you are better, I'm sorry I didn't think of this sooner."

I said “I could not do it myself because I couldn't speak, and I am so sorry about the chair.”

"Mommy, the chair's okay, now, let me get the tea?" said Copy Naga.

“Ok, my daughter.” I replied, not even thinking about the words until they were said. Suddenly, I realize what I just said, and, even better, that it was alright!

Copy gave a little gasp and suddenly hugged Naga. There were some tears in her eyes. “Daughter? Oh I’m so happy…” she beamed.

I smile a warm smile, the likes of which have not graced my face in a long time, a true smile of joy, not a fake smile like all the other smiles I have been smiling lately. No, this is a real smile!

Shadow Naga couldn't help but smile back when she saw Naga was happy. She felt relieved, and, like any daughter, she wanted to make a good impression on her mother. "Okay, mommy, well, let's have our tea?"

“Yes sweetie, lets, I could use some good tea.” I said.

They sat at the table in a brief silence. As they sipped their tea they both thought about the strangeness of the days' events. Shadow Naga spoke. “Mommy, I was wondering, do you, uh, ever go back home? To see Amelia and daddy I mean?”
I look down in sadness. “No sweetie, I have never had the courage to go back home after… what happened that night…” Tears start to roll down my face again.

Shadow Naga gave Naga a hug. "Please don't cry mommy. I was really just wondering if you had been home after I was made. Well, and part of me wanted to know if Amelia and daddy knew about me. But I was just curious, I didn't want to make you sad again..."

I am silent for a minute, then I say “No sweetie. It is ok I understand why you asked and trust me, I miss Amelia and daddy too. One of these days I will return home and see them, but not just yet. So where is Lina? I’m surprised that you two didn’t go your separate ways like the real Lina and I did?”

The Copy girl replied “No, no, we didn't. She's out in the woods getting some plants and things. We make a bit of money selling magical herbs, and we also both love mushrooms and it's the season right now for them. And it's even the start of berry season. If she finds some I can make up for the strawberries I didn't get today in town by making a nice berry pie! Oh, it'll be so yummy with the berries and the whipped cream and all! Of course, my Lina makes the best, melt in your mouth pie crust, so she'll make that. Oh, it'll be such a labor of love for us! It will be wonderful!" Shadow Naga was obviously enthusiastic, to the point where she had stars in her eyes. But then, she was very domestic...

I avoid gagging and smile. “Wow, sounds very good sweetie. I am glad it didn't end for you two like it did for me but that is a story for later. If you don't mind can we go see your Lina? I would like to say hello. Um, also, I will want to be anonymous until we talk, so do you have a cloak I may use?” I ask, as I sip my tea in the way a Princess should.

“Um, sure…” said copy Naga. “But, why? I'm sure she'd be happy to see you, in fact, I know she would. But we can go see her. I know the woods quite well, so while I don't know where she is exactly, I know we will find her.” Shadow Naga rummaged in a drawer and held up a garment and said “Here is one of my cloaks. I think it'll fit...”

I put it on, and it fits perfectly. “Sweetie did you forget we are the same in every way?” I finish my tea and get myself fixed up before we leave. “Now remember sweetie, keep who I am a secret until I let her know who I am, alright? He, he, she will do the introduction for you. I know Lina very well. So are you ready to go?” I flip up the hood to hide my face.

Shadow Naga lead the way. “Uh, you do remember, this isn't your Lina, right? We have the opposite personalities to the two of you, so, uh, just remember to take your Lina and reverse her to understand my Lina okay?” she said with a slight sweat drop. They wandered into the woods. “Lina!” called Shadow Naga. There was no reply. “Okay, let's try the lake...” she said, leading the way.

“Yes, I know, sweetie, I understand that very well.” I say, as I walk on, following your lead.

Chapter 2

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The two women ended up by the lake. After some calling out, and stopping to pick a few plants on Shadow Naga's part, they moved on. "I'll bet she's looking for berries in the old fire glade." she said as they walked through the woods.

I follow you in silence all the while thinking back on my adventures with my Lina, which makes me cry silently as I walk along behind you.

Eventually they reached the glade. "Lina? Lina!" called Shadow Naga as they entered. There was no response at first, but after they moved around and called again a voice answered. "Yes? Oh, Naga, love, come here and help! The gooseberries are out early this year!" shadow Lina said."

"Oh, yummy! I'll be right there my precious! But we have a visitor!" shadow Naga replied. A little red head popped up from the brush. "We do? Well, welcome visitor! Who is it?" she asked. "Oh, just come and see!" was Naga’s reply.

I wait till she gets close, and then…"Ooooo, hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo! Ooooo, hoo, hoo, hoo! So we finally meet again Little Lina!” I say this as I flip back the hood and smile a very warm and genuine smile of delight.

"GYAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" screamed Lina, falling on her behind and dropping her basket of berries...

"Love? Are you alright?" gasped shadow Naga as she knelt beside her and gave shadow Lina a protective hug.

I drop to my knees very sad and say “I am so sorry Lina. I just wanted to surprise you just once seeing as I have not seen you in so long.

Shadow Lina looked back and forth between the two of them, then finally relaxed and started to laugh. "Oh my, Miss Naga! I never ever thought we'd see you again! Well, you certainly surprised me..." Then she realized about the basket as she sees all the berries on the ground "Oh NO! Wahhh, my berries! And I pricked myself so many times on those bushes getting them too..." she practically wailed.

Shadow Naga hugged her tight and said "Hush, hush, it'll be okay. We will all pick them up and your basket will be full again in no time!" She set to work picking. As did Shadow Lina.

I even give you a hand picking them up and as we do so I ask “So, how have you two been doing as of late. I haven’t heard a word about you two since we went our separate ways. So, please give me an update!”I ask, happy once again.

"Well,” said shadow Lina "we wandered around for a bit, trying to be nice to people, but they didn't understand us, so we ended up settling down here in an old abandoned cottage which we were able to fix up enough to be livable. The local villagers eventually accepted us, and realized we weren't you and Miss Lina, so they left us alone and we even made some friends. Not deep friends mind you, but they talk to us, and we can go and buy things and Naga, I mean my Naga has a part time job with one of the seamstresses in town, so, between that and the herbs and things, we make a living. And it's nice and quiet here, so yeah, that's what we've been up to. We keep hearing stories about you though. Are you still wandering around?"

“Yes, I am, as always. I never have been able to settle down so I keep wandering around the land” I reply.

"Well, well..." shadow Lina said. Then, she realized her basket was finally refilled and beamed as she held up the bounty.

”We should go back home." said shadow Naga. "It's starting to get dark."

“Ok! Sounds like a plan.” I enthuse, “And I cannot wait to try some of the pie that will be made from these berries.” I add as I lick my lips.

The girls giggled at that, and then they all walked home. "So, Lina, did you find any mushrooms?" asked shadow Naga.

"No, I didn't, well, plenty of buttons, but they need one or two days before they open fully, so it's back again tomorrow I think, Naga." was the reply. "Err, I mean..." she said, looking between the two Naga’s.”This is going to be confusing..." she sighed.
“You may call me Naga, and if my daughter doesn’t mind being called Gracia, then that will make it easier don't you think?” I suggest.

"Uh?" said shadow Lina.

Eager to please, the now renamed Gracia piped up, "Oh that would be fine, Gracia is a lovely name don't you think?"

"S-sure it is!" smiled shadow Lina, sounding a bit unsure. "And I guess I get to just be Lina, he, he, he..." she giggled. Then, with a smirk she added “I wonder what my Naga will think when she finds out I have a Gracia?" she added.

"We'll just have to find out, won't we?" giggled Gracia in reply.

I laugh a normal laugh at this as I walk along, happily. “So tell me, girls, you say you don’t have much to do with the villagers. Do you live alone then? No friends at all? Or do you have anyone special, lovers perhaps, of your own? I ask, prying a bit.

The girls gave a little jump, in sync yet, and then blushed, and giggled... they couldn't bring themselves to say the words, but, after a minute they shyly reached out and took each other's hand. They hoped Naga would get it, and they prayed she wouldn't mind...

Walking in front of you two I wonder about the silence, so I turn to ask again, see you two holding hands and blushing “that” sort of blush, then I trip and fall flat on my butt. I sputter, then say “You two are lovers? Well, well… I wish you two a very happy future, then, and I hope you don't meet the same end Lina and I met…”

“What end was that, mommy? asked Gracia.

I reply “A sad one, but I will tell you about that later” as I get up and brush myself off. I resume walking and flip my hood over my face, pretending I am chilly, but really it is to hide a blush that I have on my own face…

"Well...” said one of them, "it's not like we could exactly meet people like us”

“And besides, we do have so much in common, and, well, it just felt so right..." said the other.

"Still does..." they both said."

"I'm happy for you two, I truly am happy for you" I say as cheerily as I can, but again, tears start to roll down my face as I silently cry for my Lina.

Being that Naga was ahead of the girls they didn't see the tears. On the other hand she didn't see the little stolen kiss. But then...

I go to my knees, my silence broken, and I am crying in sorrow. I feel sad, and I am also aggravated at myself for giving in as I sit there for a minute. I stay silent, then I stand up abruptly and keep going to your cottage.

The girls, being behind Naga stop in amazement, not sure what's going on. "M-mommy, are you alright?" asked Gracia. But Naga just got up and went on in silence. They looked at each other, not knowing what to make of it.

"I will be fine sweeties." I say, as I keep walking. I can't talk about it yet, it hurts too much.

The girls followed Naga in silence. When they got to the cottage they settled her in to a chair, and then gave her some of the still warm left over tea. Leaving her to settle down, they set to work making supper and, of course, pie. The meal would be ready quickly enough, though the pie was going to need at least an hour. "Wow, your mom." said Lina. "I wish my mom would show up, just once."

"I know, love, and who knows, she might. I met my mom by accident today, so anything's possible..."

I sit there, completely lost in thought as I wonder about what could have been. I stare off into nothing then realise that I am also starring at Lina...

I sigh absently as I sip on the tea.

Oblivious to the stare, Lina smiles as she and Gracia set to work. The pie is quickly set out, the vegetables are simmering, the fire is stoked, and there is even tea water heating, all in very short order. Figuring it’s okay, they give each other a little peck and giggle some more as they start to set the table.

I sit there stewing, and I get more and more depressed. I suddenly jump up and ask "Can I help in anyway? I need to do something, or I am going to go nuts!"

The girls are startled again. "Uh, well, uh..." they say as they look at each other, trying to think.”Well, if you want, but only if you want, uh, can you get us a bucket of water from the well, please?" Gracia asks.

"Yes I can sweetie! *I reply. I grab a bucket, run to the well, and grab the water. I walk carefully walk so as not to spill a drop. I don't knock as I open the door,I just walk right in.

"Oh thank you!" said Gracia as she took the bucket from Naga. "The meal is ready, please sit down and we can begin." she smiled.

"Okay!" I say. I sit down and starts to eat like a Princess does, falling in love with the food as I eat "My complements to the chefs on all of this, it is just so delicious!" I say, remembering my manners. It helps that the food really is first class too. Finally, the food is eaten, then the dishes are washed, dried, and put away...

I say "Ahhhhhh. Ok I feel it is time to tell you why I have been a wreck since I got here. The truth is, after you two were made and we left, well, Lina and I sort of fell in love. It was a cold night and as we snuggled to stay warm we started to talk about this and that to pass the time. I mentioned how I thought she was pretty, and it snowballed from there. A few months later we were a happy, but secret, couple and I thought all was well, but, of course, then it happened. She said she wanted some space for a little while and I over reacted, like I always did, and we fought. More than likely you heard about it, it was a nasty fight, lots of cursing and calling of names, and we attacked each other, then we went our separate ways." I sighed. "I have not seen her since and seeing you two happy just reminds me of what I lost. That is why I was crying so much."

The girls looked at each other, tears standing in their eyes ('cause the shadows always were softies...).

"Oh mommy, how sad for you." mourned Gracia. "But you know, knowing you as I do, I'm afraid I can't say I'm surprised, you've always been so quick to over react..."
"Yeah, well, she's not the only one..." said Lina, blushing as she remembered some of the pranks her mother had pulled. "That shadow projection thing with her big sister, Luna, for example... No, on second thought, better not go there..."

"No, too late, I must know about this, so please tell me about it."reply, curious to hear about it.

"D-don't you know the tale?" asked Lina.

"No, I do not. I didn't even know Lina had a sister. What happened then?" I ask in pure interest.

Lina looked up and gulped. "Well, err, in your Lina's childhood there was this incident with Lina and her sister Luna, something about a shower and the spell called Shadow Projection...

I nod in interest. "Please, do go on." I encourage.

Uh, well, uh, I guess there had been a squabble, you know, Lina was twelve, Luna was fourteen, and they did the bickering kids do from time to time..."

"Yeah, we did that with Amelia sometimes..." said Gracia quietly, remembering some of Naga's past...

I gulp. "Yes, we did..."

"Yeah?" said Lina. "Well, Lina wanted revenge, so, she got some young men in the town to give her money, and then she did a shadow projection of Luna having a shower for them..."

Lina went on. "Of course, she was twelve, and, well, she got caught, and the rest is too horrible, I, I don't want to remember it..." she shuddered.

"It’s ok Lina." I say as I walk over and hug her. I turn to the other me. "Gracia, do you remember spying on mommy and daddy during there alone time?" I say, trying to lighten the mood. Do you remember how she used to dance for him in this very outfit I am wearing right now?"

"Oh, I remember..." said Gracia, with a blush.”And that's not all they did..."

"Yes, I know."I say softly. I lean over to Gracia’s ear and whisper "I have an idea. Why don't you dance for Lina in a outfit like mommies outfit and relax Lina while I go look for my Lina and see if I can patch things up with her?" I couldn't help but giggle excessively at the look on Gracia’s face...

Gracia looked at Naga with a very perplexed look. "Huh?" she said. "You want me to do what, while you do what???" she asked.

Laughs whole heartedly. "You know what I said, sweetie..."

"Uh, she doesn't need to do that..." said Lina, just as perplexed, and obviously having hearing just as good at the original Lina's.

"Wait, do you still have the one you had on when you were made?" I ask.

Gracia blushed deeply. "I, well, it was part of me when I was made, so I never got rid of it, but, it's well hidden. Do you want it?"

"Take me to it, and you put it on, ok sweetie? I want you and Lina to have a great time while I am gone, ok? I will help you put it on if you need me to." I offer.

Gracia was shocked. "But we don't need... and anyway, uh, that's kind of personal..."

"Oh go ahead," giggled Lina. "Indulge your mother. I already know what you've got underneath it anyway..."

Gracia blushed deeply. "Oh, alright... I can play along, I suppose..." she said. She scratched her head in puzzlement. "Are mothers always this weird?" she asked.

"Do you need to ask that? We have the same mind, basically."I say. I walk in with her. I tell her to get only the parts she needs, such as the top, bottoms, boots, gloves, tiara, and the garter. "Will you need a hand?" I ask as I help set it out."

Gracia blushed again. "N-no, I know how it goes on..." she said, gently pushing Naga out the door and closing it.”I can’t believe I'm doing this..." she sighed as she started to get dressed.

I sit and wait beside Lina so I can see her expression. Don't worry Lina, I will leave before she starts dancing, ok?"

Lina giggled. "And I know just the tune to get her dancing too..."

I look confused at that one.

Finally, there was a creak as the door opened and a very shy looking Gracia came out. She had put the cloak on and wrapped it around herself. "I, uh..." she said, stepping into the room.

"I'm not leaving till I see how it looks, and the look on Lina's face." I say.

Lina giggled. "But I did see her, when we were made, remember? And I've seen her since, even in the altogether..."

"Oh Lina!" said Gracia. "Must you? You're so naughty minded when you get going." She sighed. "Oh well, may as well get it over with. Here..." she said, opening the robe and doing her best to strike a seductive Naga like pose. It was a good attempt, even if the outcome was more comical than seductive..."

I nod my head and giggle a little, before saying "Well, I will leave you to your fun. With that I walk out the door, cast ray wing, and I am off like a shot.

The two shadow girls looked at each other and sighed. "Well, that was bizarre." said one. "I wonder if we'll ever see her again?" said the other.

After a minute, Lina gave Gracia a warm hug and said "I know that costume bothers you, let me help you take it off. You "dance" so much better in the nude anyway..."

Gracia giggled and said "How could I refuse such a fair offer?"

The girls made an early night of it...

Chapter 3

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

While I fly I spot a hot spring and a building. I fly down to it and find it is an unused Spa. What's more, it has a "For Sale" sign up so I buy it on a whim.

From there I keep flying and searching, and occasionally I ask for directions. I finally spot Lina and land. Alas, when I try to talk to her she gets very mad and attacks me, stabbing me in the thigh as I try to run. Fortunately, she does not give chase, but the sword is still in my thigh. I fight back the urge to faint, and I finally manage to cast ray wing. It takes all I have to fly back to the cabin. I am badly battered, bruised, and bloody. I knock on the door as loud as I can.

It was pre dawn by this time. The girls got out of bed very, very sleepily. After some fumbling Lina managed to cast "Lighting" and they stumbled to the door. They had a freak at seeing Naga there, all hurt and bloodied. "M-mother! What happened? How on earth did you get injured? And how did you managed to get back here with all that blood? You always faint?" cried a worried Gracia.

Almost instantly I do faint, now, partly from the blood, and partly from the blood loss. Lina's short sword is still in my thigh. As I faint I try to pull the deed to the spa from my cape, but I don't make it.

The girls gave another cry, and dragged Naga inside. Gracia desperately remembered all that Naga had ever learned of white magic healing while Lina removed the sword and applied pressure to the wound. She looked at the sword and gasped. "It's real Lina's short sword..." she said.

"Oh dear, they must have had a fight..." sobbed Gracia as she waited for an imperfectly cast "Recovery" to work. There was a strong, intense white glow around Naga as the spell went to work closing the wounds, calling the serpent Mage back from the brink...

As I start to come to out of fear I grab the deed and place it in Garcia’s hands. "This is for you my daughter, just take it, ok, sweetie?"

Gracia said "O-Okay." and stuffed it away unlooked at. Right now she wanted to heal her mother. Nothing else mattered.

"No, you must read it. I will be fine. Lina is helping cast as well, it will be ok if you stop for a minute" I say weakly.

"Alright, mother, I will, after we get you safely into bed so you can rest." Gracia said quietly. With Lina's help she got Naga up and tucked into their only bed. After giving her another spell for pain, and one for sleep, they left the room. Gracia took the paper out and, with Lina casting Lighting and looking on, they read the paper. Afterwards, they could only look at each other, speechless...

As I sleep an old dream comes back to haunt me. In my locked sleep I see my mother’s murder over and over again.

Meanwhile, the girls made what bed they could of the floor, and tried to resettle for the rest of the night.

A day and a half passes of dead locked sleep in which I relive the death of my mother over and over again. When I finally reawaken I scream out in a mixture of pain and pure terror...
"MOMMY!!!"

Alas, it was mid afternoon, and the girls were out. The cottage was empty.

I sit there crying for an hour for my mommy before I seal it away. I look at my body and see that I am well now. I get up and walk outside to see if I could find them.

The yard looks deserted, as if no one was there. Eventually Naga made her way around to the back of the property and saw a chicken coop, with a pen and a small flock, and a very large garden. Obviously the girls grew most of their own food. At the far end of the garden a handful of weeds suddenly flew up and out of the garden.

I walk over to the area to investigate the flying weeds and ask "Hey is there anything I could help with?"

Lina's head popped up. "Oh! Hey, you're awake. How was the sleep? It took you long enough." she said with a smile.

It was horrible. I shake with terror as it is brought up

Lina gave the trembling Naga a puzzled look. "Err, what was wrong???" she asked.

I tell Lina what the dream was that I had the whole time I was asleep

Lina looked sad "Oh, your poor mother. Yes, I know the story, Princess, your shadow has told me everything, and I have done the same for Lina. But don't worry we have told no one else, just each other."

I nod in gratefulness and I ask again if I can help with anything.

Lina looks around. "Uh, well, I'm weeding the garden, so... Oh I know, see the pile of weeds here? Take them and throw them to the chickens. They love picking through them."

"Alright then, Lina." I pick up the weeds and take them to the chicken pen and I go in and start spreading them out when I slip and bust my butt on some fresh chicken poop when I yell out "Ahhhhhh help!"when Lina turns to look there are chickens all over me picking at the weeds and getting holes in my costume*

Lina came running over to help. She couldn't help but laugh as she did so though. "Well, you know, I don't think that costume is meant for farming. Let's clean you up and get you something more practical."

I nod in the midst of starting to laugh getting the feathers out of my hair as well noticing a breeze on one of my nipples

Lina led the way into the cottage. As they went passed the pond she pointed out the spot they went into it. "Here's our bathtub, a fireball will warm it and it's a good place to soak. I'll get some clean clothes."

Ummmmm Lina? I don't know fireball. I say this as I start to get undressed

"Oh. Okay." said Lina, she turned around, gave Naga a once over, noticing how she looked exactly like her Gracia. "Watch yourself." she said, then, aiming at the pond... "Fireball!" A carefully controlled irregular ball of fire popped out and plopped into the water before bursting. Lina clearly didn't have her namesake's delicate control of the spell, but, if all She ever did was heat water and light fires, how much more did she need?

"How's that? She asked.

I try the water then give a sigh of contentment as I lower myself into the water up to my nose and start to blow bubbles in the water.

Lina smiled and went into the cottage, stoked the fire, and put the water on. It was tea time anyway. She got some bread and butter and honey from the cupboard and set it out, ready for after the bath. Then she got a towel and some of Gracia's work clothes, and went back out to see how her guest was doing.

I am doing the dead man’s float when you return to check on me face down.

Lina was startled by this. "WH-what... hey, Naga?" she said. She knew the real Lina would dive in and go to her aid, but, she wasn't the real Lina. So, she managed to find a long stick and started poking at Naga, trying to bring her to shore...

I smile below the surface as my plan is working and glad I can hold my breath for so long...

Lina finally got Naga to shore, and with only a few whacks of the stick. But it was only her head she hit, nothing important...

I lay there acting like I am dead.

Lina finally managed to struggle Naga to the shore, but she couldn't lift her completely out of the water. She managed to turn her over, and started to shake her. "H-hey Naga? Naga! Are you alright???"

I open my big beautiful eyes and say "What, no mouth to mouth, Lina?"

Lina jumps back, startled. "H-huh? WH-what? What's that?? Wait... was this a trick???"

I laugh happily at your reaction.

Lina stared. Then she frowned. Then a tear trickled down her cheek. "That wasn't funny, I was really scared. What if something was wrong?" she said. It seemed Naga had forgotten that Shadow Lina wouldn't act like real Lina and fireball Naga for the bad joke.

"Aw, I am sorry, Lina." I hug you, forgetting that I am completely naked, as I am as I try to comfort you...

Lina lets you comfort her for a few seconds, yet another difference from the real Lina. "I-it's okay, I just over react sometimes. She snuggled in, but didn't seem to notice her companion was naked.

I stay that way, enjoying it too much to say anything as I hug you tighter.

Finally Lina smiles again then says "I'm making tea and I've put some food on the table, you must be hungry after a day and a half of sleeping." she said.

I pull back and look at you. "Did you say food?

"Yep!" said Lina getting up and automatically handing you a towel and the work dress she found for you.

I dry off and get dressed and walk back to the cottage. Along the way I ask if you two read the deed, and where is Gracia?

Lina replied "Oh, it's her day to work in town, so she's been gone since morning. We need to make some money after all, even here. Yes, we read the deed, we should talk about it over tea, I think." With that she got the tea ready and set it out on the table next to the bread and honey.

"Was what I did a bad thing or a good thing?" I ask as I sit down and enjoy the food and tea.

Lina looked at Naga with a slightly confused look. "It was an unexpected thing. Why, did you do it?"

I thought that you could use a better income, one where, if you wished, you could live a life of luxury, and of little want. It is just outside of Zoana, in a place the King and Queen frequent.

Lina looked stunned. "Uh, well, yeah, we don't like being as poor as we are, though we don't desire to be rich like you are. Uh, but what are we supposed to do with this spa?"

"Why, people will pay you to let them, bathe there, and get therapeutic massages. They will even pay to eat healthy food for a change. You won’t have to cook meat or anything you do not wish to touch, and if you want, I will help you with the place."

Lina blinked. "Yeah, I got that part already, but, why us?"

Naga replied "Because I love you two like my own daughters. Gracia is my daughter and I thought I would ask if you would like to join her as my daughter Lina?"

"Daughter? So soon after we've just met? Huh. But, in a way you know us already, so, I suppose that's right..." said Lina with a thoughtful voice. Then she got sad and went on "Yeah, we don't have real moms... I'd love to have one." She smiled again. "Okay, you drive a hard bargain, I'll be your daughter too." she said, as she walked over and gave Naga a hug.

Hugs you back then I start to sip on my tea again just like Gracia does.

Lina sat down and drank her tea too. "Um, neither of us has much business experience, we'd need to learn how to do the books and stuff" she said.

Naga beamed a big smile at Lina."And that is where I come in. I can even help with the finances, little Lina, and maybe even get my daddy and Amy-Chan to come up there to relax sometime soon."

Lina looked at Naga and smiled. "Are you going to make up with them then? Oh that would be so good! And Gracia has always wanted to meet the people she remembers so well, but never actually knew."

"Yes I am, Lina darling, and she will have to wait, because I think seeing two of me after 6 years being gone they might just faint. Do you understand little Lina?"

"Sure, don't want to give them TOO big of a shock, he, he..." chuckled Lina. Then a yawn overtook her. "What the heck?" she said.

"You lie down and just tell me what is left to do and I will do it for you, ok daughter? Think of this as a day off..."

"It's just being out in the sun all day I think, uh, mommy..." said Lina, trying on her new role. "He, he, it’s okay. The weeding is done, for today anyway, and I'll start supper later. A nap would be good. But I'll do it outside under my favorite tree..." she smiled.

"Do you mind if I join you?"

Lina smiled and gave a carefree shrug. "No, not at all, mommy..." She went outside.

I follow you.

Lina lead them to a big spreading shade tree with a bit of a soft lawn underneath it. "Were here!" she said, flopping herself down on the ground.

I lay down next to you and look up to the sky and sigh a sigh of contentment.

Lina on the other hand, having actually worked all-day, instead of sleeping, fell asleep...

After a few minutes of relaxing I finally drift off to sleep...

It is a warm pleasant afternoon, and Lina is having a relaxing sleep.

I roll over towards Lina my hand lying on her breast as I sleep.

Lina slept on. But she did give a happy sigh and breathe the name "Naga"...

Mmmmmm Lina I sigh as I instinctively slide closer to my daughter and starts to snuggle with her.

Lina was soon in Naga's arms. Still asleep of course. The problem was, she had done this with HER Naga (now Gracia) before, and in her sleep she had no way to tell what she was doing...

I lie there following suit, dreaming of the old times with my Lina and the late night snuggle times. I start acting out my past times with my Lina with my daughter. I start to kiss Lina on the lips and rub my body against hers as I am trying to make passionate love to her in my sleep.

Lina grogged awake. For a second or two she returned the kiss. "Naga?" she murmured. "You are home early, love."

Still asleep I continue to kiss and hug you and I moan "Lina...".

Lina woke up a bit more as Naga snuggled up to her. This was great, but something was wrong. But what?

I am acting just like your Gracia would do as I kiss you and rub my body against yours, moaning your name deeply with love...

Lina blinked fully awake. If Naga wanted to make love... Then the candle lit... this was the real Naga, not hers.... "GYYAAAHHHH!!!!!" she screamed, pulling away in shock. "WHATHTEHELLAREYOUDOING???!!!" she yelled in fright...

Startled awake, I let loose with a scream of my own in fear.

After breathing deeply for awhile while starring at the equally shocked Naga, Lina calmed down. "Oh, wait, we were asleep under the tree..." she said trying to figure it out.

Starts to cry as I jump up to run away. I trip and fall shortly after I start running in disgust at myself for what I did.

Lina said "W-wait..." but Naga was too fast for her. Feeling upset she did the only thing she could think of and went in to make supper.

I lie there out, cold from hitting a rock, for an hour.

Lina eventually worried herself enough to go look. Gracia wouldn't like what had just happened, oh no, and all Lina needed to do to make it worse was have Naga disappear...

You find me behind a bush about 100 feet from the tree, still out cold, a small pool of blood under my head, but I am still breathing strong.

"Oh no, and Gracia is the one who remembers the white magic..." said a worried Lina. She thought for a bit. Then she cast "Levitation" on to Naga and was able to pick her up and float her to the cottage. She got her cleaned up as best she could and settled her back into bed.

30 minutes later, I wake up and groan in pain.

Lina heard Naga’s groan and went in to see her. "Are you awake now?" she asked. "I am so sorry for what happened, Gracia will be home soon and she remembers the healing spells better than I do. Oh, maybe we should use our magic more..." she said, looking very worried.

"Oh, my head..."

Lina didn't know what to do. She ran and got a cloth, then dipped it in the now cool water from the pond. She came back and applied the compress to Naga's head.

I nervously say "Thank you Lina and I am so sorry about what happened. I don't know what got into me."

Lina smiled bravely. "Well, I did it too. But, uh, I thought you were, you know, my Naga. I-I couldn't really tell the difference. I'm so sorry this happened." She looked teary.

I smile at her and replied "No, I must have been dreaming about my Lina, and I must have forced myself on you, so I am sorry"

"Well, I'd better go stir supper..." said Lina, not knowing what else to do...

I lie there thinking on how to fix things, then decide on a drawing of our little family. "Lina? Do you have any paper and art supplies?"

"Hey? Uh, a bit..." she said, getting some paper and a pencil for Naga.

I thank you, then set to work drawing a portrait of our family, me, Gracia, and lil' Lina. I finish my drawing and get up, feeling a little dizzy. I walk over to you, and place it face down on the table and go sit down.

Lina handed Naga a cup of tea, and asked "Do you feel alright?"

A little dizzy but other than that and a bad headache yes I am fine.

"I wish I had some pain relief. Oh! I know I can at least get you some Willow bark!" she said, nipping outside to gather some.

Looks confused and put the picture in front of your seat picture side up.

Lina was back in a minute with some shavings from the willow. She set them to steep in the hot water. Then she looked over and saw the picture. "What's this?" she asked, taking a closer look.

"A picture of our little family for the new house, unless you want me to draw one with just you two" I say, looking a little sad as I am trying to apologize.

Lina smiled at it. "Are we really a family then? I'd like that; we've been so misunderstood since we were made. It will be nice to be part of a family." she said quietly.

"Yes, we are a family now, Lina."

Lina smiled. "Okay, so, Gracia should be along soon. Oh, here's the tea, it's not as good as magic, but it will help with the pain in your head."

I take it, thankfully, and drink it. "Thank you, Lina."

Lina started to set the table. It was a bit of a special occasion, so out came the table cloth, what passed for good china, and the like, even a few candles.

I look on in surprise as I move to get out of the way.

Lina giggled. "It isn't much but even we have a few little luxuries. I want it pretty for Naga, err, I mean Gracia... My, but you two are so much alike in some ways you know, he, he, he..."

"So what’s the special occasion?"

"Oh? Our being a family, of course..." she said.

I walk over and hug you. "I love you, my lovely daughter."

"Thank you." said Lina. Then she went to set out the meal. "Gracia should be home any moment!" she said.

"Want some help?" I ask as I try to do something so I am not just a waste of space at the moment.

Lina looked around. "Well, I don't ... oh, of course, flowers! What is your favorite? Or do you still think you are superior to any flowers out there?" she asked.

"No I don't. I love roses, I just wasn't going to let Lina and that jerk get one up on me." I smile remembering the incident where Lina tries to help some guy we were guarding get all sweet on me with a bouquet of flowers...

Lina said "We have some wild ones out back. They are in the last of their blooms and beginning to make rose hips. We should use them now, or never, I think!" Lina went to the bush with the pretty pink flowers. "They have thorns..." she said, carefully starting to cut a few off the bush.”We won't need many."

"Sounds like a plan!" I say, getting a few of them myself. I smell one and getting a bug up my nose. Of course it wiggles, and I act like a fool...

Lina laughed at that. "Lucky it wasn't a bee." she said.

Finally I blow it out and it was a beetle.

"Awe, a little lady bug." said Lina with a smile.

I rub my nose comically.

Lina laughed. "Awe, does mommy's nose itch?" she teased.

"Yes it does Lina, stupid bug..."

"Well, let's get inside and distract your poor nose by letting it smell the food. That's one thing you both share, you love your food, though we tend to just be vegetarians, and I hope you don't mind..." smiled Lina.

I chuckle despite myself. "It is fine by me, it seems to do great for you two, so I can learn to love it too." I say as we walk back to the house.

Chapter 4

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

As they went back into the house a cheerful voice sang out behind them "Mommy! Lina! I'm back!!!"

I turn on my heels, and hug my daughter.

Gracia gave Naga really big hug back, then went to Lina and kissed her a long time. "I've missed you both!" she said. Lina led them in. The first thing Gracia saw was the picture. "Why, what is this?" she asked, looking at it.

“It’s a family portrait of our little family Gracia.” I reply.

Gracia smiled. "Well, what can I say? It's so pretty! And are we a family? Are you going to stay with us?" she asked, letting Lina settle her down and give her some tea, before bustling off to start serving the food. Whatever real Lina liked, it was plain Shadow Lina loved the domestic role.

“Yes we are a family, and yes I will stay with you two, if you want me to stay as your mother...” Just then, the willow bark tea stops working and the headache returns. I put my hand to my head with a pained look on my face, lightly touching the place on my forehead, and wincing every time.

Gracia looked at Naga and saw her pain. She looked closer and saw the mark from the cut. “Oh my! Mommy, what happened?”

I give a weak smile and try to explain. “I tripped and hit a rock...”

"A rock? Oh my. Were you badly hurt? What happened?" she asked, very concerned. Lina piped up "Oh dear, I was going to tell you, I just wanted to do this at a better time. It was my fault, I frightened her and she ran off, and then tripped. And I didn't go after her right away, and she was knocked out. I'm sorry Gracie, I haven't taken good care of your mommy today...". She gave Gracia a guilty look.

“No, it was nobody’s fault, we both overreacted to something trivial, and I ran and tripped is all...” I said.

“Oh. What could be so trivial you would trip over it?” Gracia asked, perplexed. Lina looked a bit fearful, and had that "about to confess all" look on her face.

“Let me tell her Lina, it was my fault.” I say.

“No, no, it was my fault. I shouldn't have screamed, you were asleep...”

Huh?" said Gracia now totally confused...

I tell Gracia the truth. “Well, we lay down to take a nap under the shade tree. Uh, the truth is, well, I started to have a dream about making out with my Lina and I, uh, kind of acted it out on your Lina in my sleep. She woke up before me and screamed, and I woke up flipping out and ran off afraid and disgusted with myself. Please, forgive me Gracia.”

Gracia looked confused even more.

"It's okay." said Lina. "We were asleep, she and I snuggled, I don't know why, but at first, I didn't wake up and I thought it was you. You two really are so alike. Anyway, when I realized my mistake I panicked, and instead of laughing it off, I screamed and frightened her...".
Gracia shook her head. "I don't understand, but... well, whatever, if it was an accident..." she said quietly.

I look to Gracia with pleading eyes. “Please don't get sad my daughter, it really was an accident.”

"I'm hungry." said Gracia with a rumble in her tummy...

My tummy matches Gracia's rumble for rumble I look to Lina with a pleading look on my face like “feed me” please...

Gracia laughed and all was sunny again. She sat down and Lina began serving.

I once again eat like a Princess would eat, with sparkles in my eyes trying everything on the menu tonight. “So Gracia darling, how was work today?” I ask my daughter.

"Oh, it was good. The seamstress I work for just got a big order for a wedding! Lots of fluffy, frilly, lacy things to sew!” She replied, enthusiastically.

“That is good to hear. I think I have a job for you later Gracie, if you don't mind.” I reply.

"Oh? Do tell. What can I sew for you, mommy?" Gracia asked.

“Goes and get mommies dancing outfit and you see where the chickens did a number on it.”

"Oh, I can fix that, no problem." she smiled.

“Thank you, baby.” I say as I hug you tightly and kiss you on the forehead.

"Is it okay if I do it tomorrow though? I'm a bit tired. Anyway, this is so good Lina! You've out done yourself as usual" Gracia cooed.

Lina smiled a big, almost sappy, smile. "Thank you my darling! I do love making you happy!"

The girls set in to eat the food.

I eat my fair share while being civil, till it comes to the last piece of food, which we all wanted. I get my fork ready to snare it.

There was a slight "clink" as the forks met, and then Gracia and Lina broke out laughing. "After you" they said together, though who they meant wasn't so clear...

I come in with another fork to snare it from you. I found it reminiscent of the good old days with my Lina.

"Mom wins!" smiled Gracia as Naga snagged the food and popped it into her mouth. Lina just laughed.

I crow in mock triumph. “The winner, and still champion, Naga the Serpent!” Then I giggle and say “That was delicious, girls.”

There was a general round of applause. Then Lina said "Gracia, we should talk about that deed she gave us. She wants us to run a spa for her."

"Well, I don't know... this is sudden." said Gracia.
I add “And don't worry I will help you run it. I will not be the owner but I will help you so that you two make it and live like you two have always wanted to.”

"But, uh, aren't we happy here?" she asked, confused again.

I look a little crushed. “But...” I start to say as tears start to build in my eyes.

"Please don't cry..." said Gracia, softly. “Hey we're just talking here." said Lina.

“I know it’s just that I spent all the money I had to buy it.” I moan, despite the fact I know I didn't check how they felt.

"Well, but, that was just silly! Mother. We love that you've done this, we just were taken by surprise." said Gracia.

“I just thought of doing it on a whim.” I explain, with a snivel.

"Heck of a whim..." said Lina, giving Naga a hug.

“Well I have always taken and never given so I thought now was the time to give and make up for all the taking.” I explain.

Lina and Gracia looked at each other. "Well, that's a good idea mother" said Gracia. "Of course we will help, is that okay, Lina?" "Sure it is!" beamed Lina in reply.

I hug both of you at the same time in joy!

Group hug!!!

Yes group hug! I hug you to so tight that I pick you two up off the ground.

The girls giggled at Naga's enthusiasm. "Err, are we going to fly there tonight?" asked Lina. "Oh my, I can't possibly leave before the wedding order is complete, I promised." said Gracia.

“No we can wait for Gracie is done because I could never dream of making her break a promise.” I smile.

"Okay. Well, that gives us time to talk then?" asked Lina. Gracia nodded yes, sipping her tea.

And Lina and I can start moving stuff there while you are at work right Lina? Or I can start on the repairs.” I suggest.

"Uh, I guess so..." said Gracia.

“Well what will it be?” I ask

"Uh, I don't know..." Gracia replied. "Let's decide tomorrow." said Lina.

“Ok sounds good.” I say. Then I ask “Ummmm, maybe this is a dumb question but do you have any Liquor of any kind?”

"Oh! Yeah! Sure!" said Lina as she got up and went to a pantry. "Dandelion wine okay?" she asked.

I look curious. “Sure let me try some.” I lick my lips in anticipation.

Lina opened the bottle and soon there were three mugs on the table with the home brew in them...

I pick up the glass and roll it around in the bottom of the glass and smell it then I take a sip, and with a look of delight I finish with an “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!”.

"Yep. It IS good." smirked Gracia. "My Lina makes the best!" she boasted.

I cock an eyebrow. “Really?”

"Oh, you always say that, you know it isn't THAT good..." said Lina modestly, but blushing with pride at the complement.

“No, she is telling the truth. I totally agree with her on this batch. It is very good, and as Gracie can tell you, I know my booze...”

"Well, alright then, I am honored" said a quiet Lina.

“It is very good. So, moving on to other things, where do I sleep tonight?” I ask knowing that you two would want your bed back tonight.

"Oh no. Mommy!" said Lina. "No, you should keep the bed. It’s okay." said Gracia.

“No, I insist, it is your bed, and I will find a place to sleep so you can have back your room, ok?”

“Well, I suppose there is the floor then. It's all we have..." said a doubtful Lina. "But I feel bad making you take it..."

I look at Lina like I am her mother. “I will take the floor, whether you like it or not, so that my daughters can have their bed.” I firmly insist.

Gracia shrugged. "Well, I guess it's the bed for us then. Or all three on the floor...Well, we can get another bed tomorrow, yes..." laughed Gracia.

“Well that sounds like a plan to me.” I say. With the girls help I get some stuff together and make a mat on the floor furthest from your room to give you some privacy.

"Thank You!" said Lina. She seemed secretly happy that she'd be back in her own bed with her Gracia.

I finish my glass and go and lie down and sing a lullaby mommy used to sing to me to lull myself to sleep loud enough for you two to hear.

"That was nice, mommy." said one of the girls, as they said goodnight and closed the door.
Perhaps it was the wine, but I quickly slides off to a light slumber.

The girls snuggled down in their bed, glad enough to have it back, though not without worrying if their guest would be okay. After a bit, well, they fell asleep...

I start to snore, lightly at first...

Lina gave a happy sigh in her sleep as she nestled with her Gracia this time.

I start snoring louder as I dream about some of my past adventures with Lina.

The girls slept on, blissfully unaware. Unlike Naga there were NOT dreaming about past adventures with Lina. Nor had the new spa entered into their reality enough to generate dreams yet. Their dreams were much more mundane, one was in her garden picking herbs for her love, and the other was making her beloved the most wonderful dress in the world...

My dreams shift to, of all things, a world of oddities. Up was down then it was up again. Someone called “Escher” had scrawled his signature all over the place...

People were Mazoku and the Mazoku were flowers that were nice and could talk.

Xellos and Filia was in love.

Who the hell were they???

The girls slept on, kicking the covers off when they were hot, snuggling closer for warmth when they got cold again.

Then it got even odder. People started their lives out as old people and reached death by reverse aging to babies, then to eggs, then into a poof. Swords where made of wood and there was peace, until one dark day when a child was born as a baby and grew old to die. The world was thrown into chaos, and candy rained from the sky as the world reverberated and exploded like a piñata. The candy turned to rain and everything turned to normal, and with that,I wake up confused. I settle after a minute, then I laugh. Then I realise I am hungry, so I walk into town to look for a tavern, acting politely, and hiding who I am to get me some meat in my belly...

The girls slept on in peaceful sleep...

I come back hammered, and giggling a little too loudly, although I am trying to be quiet, when my trademark laugh, at full volume, of course, springs forth "Oooooh hoo hoo hoo hoo Oooooh hoo hoo hoo...!"

That brought the girls awake... "Wh-what was that?" asked Gracia. "I don't know but I'm scared, hold me!" pleaded Lina...Eventually they built up their courage and peeped out the door...

Can't stop laughing as I am so drunk and full and had a blast drinking people under the table...

The girls looked at each other, uncertain of what to do. "Well... she does like to drink..." said Gracia.”

“I thought she gave that up for us?” pouted a hurt Lina.

Gracia gave her a strange look. “Then why did you give her the Dandelion wine?”

Lina blushed deeply. “Uh, I forgot?” she sweat dropped, holding her hand behind her neck and blushing bright red.

I finally stop laughing as I start to hurt, and I look to you two with tears in my eyes. “Gracia, do you not remember today’s date? It is a day that has haunted me for years. I had to drink, so I must apologize.”

Gracia gave Naga a puzzled look. "Okay, but you might have told us something. Maybe we could have helped you, or at least comforted you." she said.

“It is now the anniversary of mommy’s death as of today...”

"I get it." Gracia said quietly. "But wouldn't it have been better to have a good weep while Lina and I comforted you? Too much drink and I'll have an anniversary date of my own you know..."

"Yeah..." added Lina, not knowing what to say.

I cast DeClery and walk to you two, crying sober as a priest. “I know but you two were sleeping and I didn't want to disturb you, plus I got some food while I was out. I had some steak and such with the last of some money I had left from buying the Spa.”

Lina sighed. "You ate meat? Is that why you really went out? Look, mom, we don't eat meat, but if you want it, we can get you some..."

Gracia intervened. "But Lina, remember, we eat vegetables in part because our moms like meat so much."

Lina nodded. “If mommy wants meat to eat, I'll cook it, I just don't have the taste for it, unlike real Lina who could eat a whole herd of cows and not have enough...”

“That is not the only reason I went out sweetie.” I explain. “I needed the fresh air, and the drink just for this one day because of what day it is, and don't worry about it ok? I got my fill today of meat so I will be good for a while on that, so just please hold me I need the comfort...”

Gracia hugged Naga to her. But Lina was more suspicious. "Yeah, but you used to make promises to Lina and not keep them either." she said. "I remember..."

I starts to cry heavily at this remark as pain shoots my very heart enveloping me with even more sadness.

Gracia was hurt. "Lina, how cruel can you be? Please, you don't know what this night really means to her. How can you be so cruel?"

Lina was stunned. "C-cruel? I'm just stating a fact I didn't mean to be cruel..."

I can't even look at Lina right now. I cry into Gracia's shoulder as I hug her tight. I cry great racking sobs of pain at my two great losses. Weeping, I explain “It was this very night that I lost my Lina forever, as well as my mommy.”

Gracia started to tear up too.

"L-look, I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking..." said a very humble Lina.

“It's ok Lina, you didn't know because I didn't tell you.” I pull Lina to me as well, and hug you both as I cry harder and harder till I reach the point of there being no tears, yet I still cry on.

After a while Lina excused herself to make them some tea. She didn't quite know what to make of all this, Naga was almost too emotional, but, how to even ask Gracia about all this, especially as she was now crying right along with Naga...

By the time the tea was done I had settled down enough to talk about what was going on, and as I do I also mention I have a certain visitor this week so that is why I am an emotional wreck...

“Ah, there, it's proven. Bad things come in threes!” beamed Gracia, in a ”Mystery solved” sort of way.

Lina sighed. She certainly knew about THAT one... "Okay, I wasn’t meaning to be harsh. But we got to stop having these little crises in the middle of the night..."

“Ok Lina, I will try.”

She hugged her "mommy" again and said "So, will you be alright then? And I don't mind cooking meat for you if you want it, its fine with me. Just don't ask me to eat it myself, okay?"

"Gracia giggled. “I know one kind of meat you like..." she said softly. Lina blushed bright red and got all twittery. "Oh, you and your double entendres..." But she had a little smile on her face...

“It’s pink and oh so wet and sweet...” I say, licking my lips dreamily...

"Mommy!" said a shocked Gracia, blushing as well...

“What?” I ask, looking confused. “I had real Lina, remember, and I still remember that taste all too well.” I say with a sly smile.

"Oh, it sounds so, um, smutty when you say it. But, you're right..." muttered Gracia.

“Hey?” Said Lina. "W-where are we going here???"

“Oh I am just playing you like a fiddle Lina.” I smile.

Gracia gave smutty smirk. "Well, she is a fine instrument to play on, once you get her tuned up, of course." she said.

"What?" said Lina trying to sound indignant but laughing as she did so. "Okay, okay, you got me back, he, he, he..."

I sigh. “Darn, talking like this has got me feeling all hot and bothered and wanting some...”

"Huh?" asked both the girls, looking a bit shocked.

*Blushes bright red* “I AM VERY H-O-R-N-Y!!!”

"Mommy, uh, we didn't mean to upset you." said Lina softly.

Gracia nodded. "I know there are some girls in the village who give me a funny look when they see me, maybe there's someone there who you can find who will come to love and comfort you? We certainly wouldn't mind if you had a lover here too..."

*Moans pitifully knowing that I wouldn't get anybody this week*

The girls looked at each other and shrugged helplessly. They were aware of what she was feeling, but, what to do? "P-please mommy, we can look for someone tomorrow? Is that okay?" asked Gracia, not knowing what else to say...

I nod helplessly as I go to clean up for bed.

The girls retired to bed to finish out the night. "Gee, is she ever your opposite..." said Lina. “Huh?” asked Gracia.

"Well, you always need a bit of a prod to turn you on, she's just non stop. Uh, I'm not complaining, just making an observation, you know, you are her opposite in so many ways, and here's another one..."

Gracia cocked an eye at Lina, not sure how to take that. She settled for pulling Lina into a big hug and drifting off... Gracia drifted off almost at once, but Lina found herself lying awake for awhile...

I try to go to sleep but can't because I am so turned on so I decide to relieve some pressure. I get up and get a towel, something that won't matter if it gets ruined. I put it under me, and I start to masturbate loudly, moaning and crying out for my Lina by name, saying “Oh gods, yes, Lina, right there, oh you really know how to lick me just right my love...” after a few minuets of that I finally cum and pass out as I lay there uncovered and in mid finger...

In the room, Lina couldn't help but overhear. She blushed furiously, even though she realized it wasn't actually her that Naga was calling for. Ceiphied, didn't that woman have any discretion? And yet... her Gracia was always so quiet and mild... Naga sounded down right wild in comparison... wait, what was she even thinking? With a little frown she snuggled in closer to Gracia and by sheer will, made herself go to sleep...

Chapter 5

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Later that morning the girls got up and sleepily blinked "Good Morning!" to each other. Gracia gave Lina a sudden big hug and whispered "I'm not THAT hard to get started, you Meany..." and laughed.

Lina giggled and said "I never meant that in a bad way, silly goose, and you know it!"

Gracia giggled, and said nothing, but she gave Lina a look that promised that she was going to prove Lina wrong at the first chance she got. They opened the door and went out. And went back in again, stunned...

I'm lying there sound asleep, legs spread, fingers still half inside my pussy, and a slight grin on my sleeping face as I dream about my dear sweet Lina...

"Uh, yeah... so, um, yeah..." stuttered Gracia.

Lina began to giggle. "Well, at least now I know what you'd look like if you shaved..." she snorted, trying not to burst out.

“I-if I what???" gasped Gracia.

After a minute, they couldn't hold it anymore, and they started laughing and laughing. "Poor Mommy..." said Gracia through her laughter.

“Well, at least she wasn't lying..." replied Lina, through hers... “Why not? He, he, he... What did you expect, lying there all exposed... and Lina that meant she wasn't lying about being Horny...” they tittered back and forth.

I wake up groggily and stands up to stretch. I see the blood fresh on all four fingers and faints with a loud thud as I hit the wood floor butt in the air...

The girls heard the thud and opened the door. Gracia sighed. "Blood..." she said quietly.

“Yeah, she's got that problem..." added Lina. The girls resigned themselves to their fate and set to work. They soon had the unconscious Naga washed down and in a proper dress that would hide any blood. They even dug up one of their own napkins from the closet and set it in her panties. Yep, she was ready to face the day. Lina couldn't get over how much the two Naga’s were physically like twins, or even closer...

Finally, I come to, and see that I am fully dressed and clean so I look around to see if I could find you two to thank you.

Of course the girls weren't hard to find, they were making breakfast in the kitchen half of the cottage. Lina was saying "...and I bet if we hung the spare blankets between the two walls there we could give your mommy a private room all of her own. If we were staying I'd suggest we try to build a proper wall, but I suppose if we do the Spa thing we won't be here much longer..."

Gracia was nodding. "I suppose. A part of me is going to miss this place though..." she said.

Lina smiled "Not the part that gets cold in the winter, I'll bet..." she teased.

“Well, it's only because you don't warm it up..." Gracia retorted.
"Let's see, what part was that again?" Lina said coyly, with a frisky look in her eyes. Gracia just smiled...

"Oooooh hoo hoo hoo hoo Oooooh hoo hoo hoo...!" so my daughters where kind enough to bath me and dress me this morning and now you two are talking about the spa idea so I take it we will soon be working on it? And Gracie didn't you have work to do for a wedding?

She gave a little start. "He, he, he... I hadn't forgotten. It's going to take a couple of weeks at least for what I'm doing, so it's not like there will be a rush to get out of here... plus the packing, moving, decorating, little curtains..."

"Oh you are soooo creative, I love it!" enthused Lina, clasping her hands in front of her as she looked at Gracia with starry eyes...

“Awe, you two are so cute together that you're nauseating, you know that?” I tease as I walk over to see what’s for breakfast. Then I walk to the table to wait like a perfect little angle with a smile on my face. “I'm sorry you had to see that part of me, dears...” I blush

The girls giggled, and blushed... "Oh well, you did warn us..." smirked Lina.

“I guess it makes up for not seeing it, uh, you, from the inside when I was born..." added Gracia, turning quite red indeed.

I blush at this as well. To change the subject I ask “Anyway what’s for breakfast?”

The girls had whipped up a big plate of pancakes, which were now ready and hot. Out came some butter, a rare prize, and a big pot of honey.

Mmmmmmhhhmmmmmm those look delicious girls.” I say enthusiastically, as I load my plate with only a fair amount, so as not to look greedy.

Gracia brought the coffee pot to the table while Lina hoisted a big cold pitcher. “Who wants cream in their coffee?” she asked, happily...

“I would looooveee some cream!” I squeal.

In short order the table was set out and there were two refined ladies having breakfast, while a third just gobbled. Lina sighed. "Gracia, I so wish your mother's manners had been copied..." she pouted. “Can't talk, eating...” replied Gracia, devouring everything...

“Gracie eat like a lady please.” I instruct.

"Huh? Oh Mommy..." Gracia whined.

“Don't eat like my Lina please that was one thing that she needed to work on was her manners.”

Gracia looked pouty for a second, and then a strange look came over her face. "Oh heavens!" she squealed. "W-we just did a mommy daughter thing! Oh my, it's the first one I ever had! Ahahahahaha, Ahahahaha Oh my, I love it! I feel like I have a mommy!"

Lina gave her a hug and smiled. "Oh wow! Another first. This is great!" she said, happy for Gracia...

I am shocked by the realization at first, but then I join in on the hugging and even plant a few motherly kisses on the foreheads of my two daughters.

“Lina, do you want me to give Gracia a lesson in Princess Etiquette?” I ask.

"Oh would you? That would be so wonderful!" enthused Lina. "Only, maybe don't do it too much, it's so cute the way she just raves over something she loves, like a cream pie for example. Oh yeah, I love making a cream pie for her, she just can't help herself as she devoured it, she makes the cutest noises!"

"Oh Lina, but your cream pies are the BEST!" relied Gracia, starry eyed. "Oh do make one soon, please? Make one for mommy?"

"Okay, sure! I'll pop round to the farmer later and he can give me a full pot of cream, and I'll make one you can both eat together! A real mommy/daughter eating team effort!" she smiled...

For some strange reason, it sounded slightly smutty...

“Now, that sounds like a family event! Well, Gracia, lets begin your training as a princess at this very moment.” I suggest.

"My... what???" said a stunned Gracia...

“Your Princess Training. Now sit up straight, elbows off the table...”

"Uh?" said Lina, helpfully...

Gracia looked shocked. But did as she was told...

“Take your time to eat.” I instruct. “Enjoy the flavors of the food you are eating for a change. Follow my example, Gracia, and you will be a pro in no time.”

"B... but I do enjoy my food..." she protested feebly. Then she turned to Lina with a frown and said "What have you gotten me into?"

Lina laughed nervously, with a sweat drop...

“On certain occasions it will be fine to eat like my Lina, but most of the time eat like us, and you will get fuller, faster, with less food.”

"But, I like lots of food..." she protested.

Lina said "Uh, don't take the daughter thing too far, beloved..."

“Don't what???" asked Gracia.

Still, she was obedient and began to pick at her food. After a minute she said "I can't do it, I'm hungry!" and resumed gobbling...

I give Lina a sad look like “Oh well I tried...” I keep on eating with lots of restraint as I enjoy the taste and texture of the food.

Lina frowned. "Gracia! Be fair..."

Gracia stopped, pouted, and gave a teary "I'll try, but it's just so good!!!"

Still, she went back to picking, like Naga did, only it was obviously going to be an acquired art for her, and she hadn't made it, yet...

“Now, do you notice the texture of the food?” I ask.

"Ch-chewy?" she said, hopefully.

"What?" shouted Lina? "I-I made that to be delicate and fluffy, and you think it's chewy? Oh no..." she sobbed.

"N-no." replied Gracia, with a big stress mark. "I don't know, I just meant it had to be chewed, 'cause it's food..." she said, confused and anxious to make it all better for Lina.

“Well we can do this another time, ok girls?” I say, hoping to nip it in the bud...

"Okay..." said Lina, with a frown... "S-sure..." added Gracia, her hand behind her head and a big sweat drop on her forehead...

“Tonight I will cook dinner for my girls ok? And don't worry there won't be any meat involved ok?” I say.

"Huh? Oh, uh, sure, if, that's what you want..." said Lina, promptly forgetting she was mad at Gracia.

"Okay! Mommy's going to cook us a family dinner!" smiled Gracia, promptly forgetting Lina was mad at her.

“I hope you like it dears, it will take half of the day to fix.” I finish my breakfast, get up and wash the dishes for you girls, insisting on it as I do my share of the chores for once.

The girls smiled and went outside to start the day’s other chores. First the chickens, then watering various little herb gardens, finally they were weeding away in the big garden, a never ending chore in the growing season. But it would be harvest soon enough...

I crack down on the cooking of the supper time meal and by the time it was supper the house smelt so good that you two practically floated inside, following your noses.

“Well girls, you are just in time.” I say as I lay out a huge buffet of roasted veggies and sautéed mushrooms, and foods that even would have a world class cook drooling at the preparation and scent from it. “Now dig in...” I say.

The girls did smell how good it was. "H-hey Gracia, can we keep her?" asked Lina, teasing and begging at the same time.

"Hey, I saw her first!" laughed Gracia in reply.

Soon they were sitting down and digging in. It only took about half a dozen reminders for Gracia to remember to slow down. "But... Lina might get more..." she pouted.

I giggle loudly as you two go back and forth as I sit down and eat as well, loving the taste of my work.

"Mmmmmm, good, so good, must eat like Lina..." said Lina starting to shovel, like her name sake, It was obvious, however, that she didn't have the real Lina's practice in the art.

“No fair!" said Gracia, starting to devour heartily too. But they were both laughing, knowing it was a new joke...

I laugh at you two as you eat like my Lina used to eat. Then, I start to blush as I eat.

As they were "scarfing" supper they began to talk. They discussed what food was better, with it sounding like whatever they were eating being the current champion. Finally Gracia asked "Mommy, what's your favorite thing in the whole wide world to eat?"

“Well... my favorite food is fried green tomatoes and mashed potatoes and gravy.” I reply.

"Oh, those sound yummy, I've heard of them, but don't they have a secret ingredient?" asked Lina.

“Do you wish to try them soon?” I ask.

"What, the secret ingredients???" asked Gracia with her mouth full...

“The secret ingredient is love!”I reply happily.

"I, don't think that was it...” said Lina thoughtfully, Then she went on more cheerily “Ah, well, love's no secret..." smiled Lina. “Every good chef knows you have to put love into what you cook!"

"He, he, yep!" seconded Gracia.

“Most people use flour to bread them, but the true secret is to use corn meal.” I explain.

"Ah? But we don't have that, do we?" asked Gracia. Lina couldn't remember if they had put a bag aside or not...

“Well when we finish eating supper lets look.” I suggest.

The girls keep eating...

Even I go back to my true roots and eat like my old self...

Eventually the feast is consumed. Eventually...

“Ahhhhhhhhh now that was good...” I sigh.

The girls sat there, full, and feeling it. But happy...

“So, who is the best chef in the land?” I smirk.

"Hmmm, let me think about that..." giggled Lina. “One of the Iron ones I do believe...”

“Oh, come on, it's obviously mommy!" laughed Gracia.

“And to think we still haven't eaten dessert yet.” I say.

"Oh gods, do we have room?" asked Lina.

"Do we have tea?" asked Gracia...

“Cast some high level magic and you will have room in no time.” I explain.

It took awhile but eventually Gracia seemed to have a modicum of success. There was a series of loud, and embarrassing, burps as the spell kicked in.

Lina tried to tattle on Gracia, but ended up being even worse. Soon the whole room was giggles and belches...

I laugh out loud and then I belch louder than both of you two put together.

Eventually things stop. "Okay, we're hungry again..." said one of the girls.

“What's for desert?" said the other.

“Home made Flan, and Pumpkin Pie with a homemade crust.”

There was no need to speak twice, they dug in with a will...

“Do you like it girls?” I ask.

Muffled eating noises...

“I'll take that as a “Yes!”” I say as I dig in as well so I don't miss out.

Happy pigging out noises...

I finish the food.

More groaning because they are full to the gills again...

"Who's for bed? I'm so stuffed..." moaned Lina...

“You said you were going to find me a girl?” I ask, in a mellow sort of way.

"Like we had time today???" asked Gracia." Anyway, are you up to dating while it's that time of the month?

“Well that last night was only enough to tide me over for a short while only.” I sigh.

"Uh, yeah, but, mommy, uh, wouldn't another day be better, at least until, you know, the flow was less?" asked Gracia.

“Now that you mention it I need to check on that and change huh? I have been to busy cooking to notice.” I say, as the thought suddenly strikes me that it's been all day.

"Well, you know..." she blushed...

“Yes sweetie?”

"I mean, you should know about needing to change..." she blushed more. “But we can go to town tomorrow. At any rate, I have to go help again at the shop tomorrow, so I can maybe look around, carefully of course..."

“Thank you Gracie.” I say as I get up finally noticing the uncomfortable feeling in my panties. I get a few things together and go take a bath.

The girls halfheartedly tidy up, being so full, then basically go and flop on the bed...

I come back in wearing an old night gown that would be ok by you girls for me to wear as I lay down and drift off to dream land.

They slept...

Chapter 6

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I wake up before you girls and start breakfast, and tea, and even coffee, for everybody. Then I prepare my special gooseberry pancakes with the berries cooked right in.

The girl’s grogged awake to the smell. They had slept all night in their clothes. "Wow, we better not let mom make too many special suppers..." giggled Gracia... They went out to the kitchen...

“Good morning girls. Breakfast is almost ready...” Once it is done I sit out the plates and the food and I sit down and start to eat, very civilized.

"Morning Mom" they said in chorus.”That looks good..."

It better be. I picked the berries this morning myself.”

They dug in. There was some squabbling about getting Gracia to eat like a lady, but generally it was a pleasant meal. "I have a mommy cooking for me..." Gracia sighed happily. She asked Naga "So, do you want to come to town today or should I scout out some "prospects for you?" she asked, with a slight flush.

“Hmmmmm, does my daughter Lina think she can manage with out me for a day?”

Lina giggled. "Won't be any different than all those days before you came here, mom..." she smiled.

“Well I think I will go into town with you sweetie.”

"Okay then Mommy. Um, I don't know what to tell you to do while I'm working though."

“I will be looking around for possible leads on a girlfriend while I am there.”

"He, he, of course..." she said. She got up to change.

I get changed as well. “So dear are you ready to go?”

Gracia said yes, and with a kiss to Lina she went out the door to go to town.

I follow along happily hoping to get me somebody

It was a pleasant walk in the sunlight, the morning was fresh and cool but not cold, and the walking soon warmed them up.

“Today looks like a good day to find what you need, huh, sweetie?”

"Well, I should have everything at the shop. Oh, wait, you meant for the Spa? Will you do that while I work, then?" asked Gracia.

“No, I mean for love, my dear...”

"Oh. Uh, I have Lina, what more... uh, should I need?" she asked, getting confused again...

“For me, sweetie.”

Gracia blinked. Oh well, doubtless she had misheard her mother. "I wish you well mother. You have the right to be happy too." she said gently as they arrived at the store where she worked. "See you at lunch then." she said.

“Ok sweetie, I will see you soon.”

Lunch time rolls around and I am waiting there at the spot we had talked about eating at, rather disheartened.”

Gracia got off work for her meal and quickly went to the place where Naga was. "Hi mommy!" she said sprightly. "How have you been? We've been doing fine work all morning and boy are my fingers sore, but this will be great!"

“Oh hey, Gracie...” I say a little down in the dumps. “That’s great news!” I say trying to cheer up for her sake.

"Well? How are things with you?" Gracia insisted.

“Horrible sweetie. I was laughed out of the tavern, the that place you told me about where you can get services for a price told me they don't allow women on there monthly inside for any reason, and all the women in town looked at me like I was a freak. Other than that, it went great...”

Gracia hemmed. "Forgot about that... sorry..." she said.”Um, yeah, it takes time to get in with the townsfolk. I think maybe they thought you were me and wondered why I was being so weird...

“Maybe I am looking in the wrong place for what I am looking for.”

"Well, give it time mommy, I'm sure there is someone here, it's not like Lina and I am the only girls who like girls. But you know they want to fall in love and all that too..." Gracia explained.

“I even used all of my feminine wiles and got nowhere.” I start to eat my lunch that you brought.

Gracia chuckled. "These are gentle mountain folk mommy, I'm sorry, you can't be so aggressive. I think you are too used to the big cities where people are more upfront about what they want." she said.

“That could be it baby, or I am just not cut out for love anymore, now that my heart has been broken so bad.”

"Oh, mommy, it's only when you give up hope you lose. Give it another go, just be slower and gentle with her.” She smiled and gave Naga another helping of the food.

“You mean my Lina?”

" I don't know, but maybe she'd come around in time. You had a relationship once. But you said she had a man with her? Are they married now?" Gracia asked.

“I don't know sweetie, I really don’t, but I didn't see a ring on her finger.”

"If she was beating you up, did you have time to look?"

“You should know how well I pay attention to detail. I didn't see a ring during all the punches to my face...”

"I see, yes, you have a point there..." said Gracia, wincing...

“And the guy that was with her was as dumb as a plank and was just standing there as if he was confused.”

"Well..." he's a guy, right?" said Gracia.

“Yes he is, and what about it?”

Gracia nodded. "Well, what would you expect from a guy then? He certainly was at least confused, maybe dumb too..."

And she clomped him a few times for just standing around and not helping.”

"Well, got to keep them in line. But, if she's with a guy, and she has the hots for you, how do you know she isn't waiting for you to come back? But you have to do it the right way, I suspect. Like does she think you've wronged her and wants an apology?"

“I tried to tell her I was sorry, that’s when she punched me in the face.”

Gracia frowned. "Well I don’t know then, maybe she thought you were up to something? I don't know, can you send her a letter? Say you just want to talk and see if she'll grant you a truce? asked Gracia.

“I could sure try to do that I just hope she agrees to a truce.”

"I don't know mommy, maybe you should talk to my, err, our Lina to see if you can get any ideas?" she added.

“Well, I am going to head back to the house and ask her. Ok sweetie?” I ask as I finish my lunch.

"Okay then mommy. It would probably be too boring for you anyway, wandering around this small town as you wait for me. Don't worry mommy, we'll find someone I'm sure, but it'll take time is all..." she smiled.

I hug you very motherly as I stand up and walk back to our house.

In the mean time, Lina had cleaned up, and was working around the house.

I knock on the door and open it and ask if Lina is there. “Lina dear, are you here?” I start hunting for Lina.

Lina was actually out back hanging the laundry. She came around with a big basket in her arms and gave a little start. "Oh, mom. You're back? Hey, you found someone already? Good thing I put fresh sheets on the bed already, he, he, he..."

“No, I wish I had. I need your advice though.”

"Oh?" she said helpfully...

I am going to try to send my Lina a letter to see if we can make a truce and try to work things out between me and my Lina, and I need your opinion on how to do that.

Lina looked a bit stunned, the thought for a bit. "Uh, well, uh, I don't know if she'd like a direct approach, not about love. She's incredibly shy about that sort of thing though she's pretty bold about other stuff, so, yeah, be gentle would be my first advice...”

Well you know her even better than I do, could you tell me what to write, and I will write it down and send it?”

Lina set her basket down and leaned against her sink. "Well, let me think..." she said, looking thoughtful.

I get out some paper and pen and get ready to write

"Well, you better start out with something dramatic like "I'm begging you on my knees not to toss this letter out without reading it first....” she suggested.

I write just that word for word.

"In your own words, of course..." counseled Lina.

I erase it and write something in my own words.

Lina went on, "Then I suppose you better start by telling her you've come to your senses and are apologizing for anything and everything you ever did that hurt her, even if you don't think so..."

I follow your advice and write every thing that I am sorry for.

"What would really catch her eye is if you promise to pay back all the money she thinks you owe her. Not sure if you're going to be happy with that, she's got a rather hefty sense of the interest she's like tacked on..."

I even put down that if she will agree to a truce to talk I will pay her back plus interest.

Lina thought and thought. "Okay, tell her you are trying to make amends and restore your friendship. I'd leave the word love out of it until you are talking face to face, and I wouldn't make it the first topic of the conversation. After that I guess you are on your own, I only know her to the time we were made in the mirror, and what's happened after, I don't know. Sorry."

“Ok.” I finish up the letter and ask you to proof read it.

Lina said "I think its okay. You can only try it I suppose. How you going to deliver it?”

“Well..., I don’t know...”

“Her sister maybe knows how to get it to her?
Hmmm, who'd we get? Maybe someone from the village would work.”

“That might work...”

Lina thought and said "I don't know how to get it to Zephilia, but maybe we can send it with Gracia tomorrow and she could find a messenger to deliver it. If that's okay with you."

“Yeah, it’s ok with me...”

Lina smiled. "I do hope it works for you mom," she said. "But Gracia won't be able to take it to town till tomorrow at the earliest, so we better give her a good supper tonight to give her the strength!" She laughed at that, apparently finding it funny.

“Let’s cook together Lina. A very special dinner for your lover.”
Lina smiled at that. "I'm glad you understand, mom, It'd be terrible if you thought we were bad for loving..." She started getting food out to prepare for the meal.

“I am very happy for you girls, to see you two so happy.”

She handed Naga an eggplant to slice up, and put some oil in a big pot, along with a diced up onion and some garlic. "Yep. We have been happy together. And for the longest time it was good to have each other as family. But you know, having you here seems even better!" she smiled.

“Yes, it is much better to have a mother near.”

"Hmmm, you miss yours, don't you?" she asked softly.”

I start dicing the eggplant with skill of a pro chef “Yes, I do miss her very much.”

"What was she like?" Lina asked.

“She was kind and loving and very sweet.”

"Sounds like Lina's mom. It is strange having all these memories of someone I never actually met..." she sighed.

“I wish I had had more time with mommy.”

"Well, what about Amelia? She's a part of your mommy, just like you are. But you don't want to be near her?" She asked, puzzled.

“It’s not that sweetie.”

Lina looked puzzled. "Oh?" she asked, and then wondered if she was going too far...

“If I had stayed in the castle I would have truly gone crazy knowing that I had let mommy be killed to save me.”

"But...?" Lina gave a gasp. "N-no, I won't ask, I know it hurts you..." she said.

“No. I am ok, I can finally talk about it, Lina Dear.”

Lina nodded. "I would like that, but so would Gracia even more. If you don't mind, would you talk about it when she comes home? That way you don't have to do it twice."

“That’s fine, ether way is ok with me.” I finish cutting the Eggplant and pass it to you as I start on a specialty dish of mine.

Lina added the eggplant to the Zucchini and green pepper she had chopped up and put them in the pot with the onions and garlic. Then as they slowly fried down she got some tomatoes out and started cutting them up and putting them in the pot too. As she did so she asked "So, what can we talk about instead?" she asked.

“Well, what is Gracie like in the bedroom dear?”

Lina dropped her knife then gave a giggle. "Oh my, cut to the chase why don’t you? He, he, he, well, she's gentle and sweet, and really lets me know she appreciates my loving her. She takes a while to warm up, but once she's hot she can go for quite a while, if I'm in the mood to take her there. I guess she's rather passive that way, but she's never complained. I guess the only thing is that she tends to like doing the same stuff all the time, and I'm more experimental, but, uh, well, that's, uh, personal...” she blushed.

“Wow, you are just like me and my Lina. We loved to experiment a lot, we never tried the same thing twice, and we didn't want to either.”

"Oh?" said Lina, then she turned away, slightly embarrassed. She didn't say anything more, but obviously she was thinking about something... "So, uh, moving right along, do you like to dance or anything like that? They have weekly dances on Friday night around here..."

“Well, yes I do but I am afraid I have only danced for one person before and that was my one true love so I don't know if I could do it before a large group of people.”

Lina smiled. "Well, you aren't on stage or anything like that... and we go and dance there sometimes, and we dance with each other and with other people and no one seems to care about that, we just have fun. You might meet someone you can be a friend with." she suggested.

“It’s been 3 years since I danced at all.”

"Well, think about it. It's Thursday tomorrow, and Gracia will be off on Friday so we could make an outing of it if you'd like..." Lina smiled.

“I just know I will be rusty so I don't think I could live through that embarrassment if I tried...”

"Well, we will practice on Friday before we go then." said Lina, sounding like the plan was set.

I get nervous and cut my finger bad while I am cutting potatoes and green tomatoes. Upon seeing the blood I faint, falling backwards onto the floor...

Lina sighed. With an effort she got Naga over to her corner and into her bed roll. "Man, I'm glad we don't have a bed for her yet, I'd never lift her." she said, apparently forgetting she could use magic.

I lay that way for 30 minuets until I wake up and cast recovery, healing the wound with out looking at it. Then I get up and walk over to the counter and say “I am sorry about that Lina I just don't think a few hours will knock out the rust for me.”

"Well, uh, what will?" she asked, innocently.

“Maybe a few days practicing?”

"Uh, sure then. We can try after supper, Gracia will love it..." Lina said.

“Ok, thank you dear.” I say, as I gets back to cooking the fried green tomatoes for supper, and the fried potatoes.

Soon the pots were ready, and Lina was setting the table. Gracia would be along anytime now, and she wanted everything to be perfect.

I finish up my two dishes just as she walks in the door.

"I'm ho-ome! Hi mommy did you and Lina write a nice letter to, um, Lina?" she sang as she walked in the door and saw the two of them there.
“Yes I we did and we can talk about that later but first we eat. I made my Fried Green Tomatoes and some fried potatoes!”

"Oh! Okay!" said Gracia, as she took off her cloak. She proceeded to wash up and sat down. "Okay, I must remember my manners..." she said. Lina laughed.

I sit down and wait your report on the taste before I eat so that I can see what you girls think.

"MMM, just like last night! Can we have this every night?" asked Gracia. Lina looked to Naga and silently mouthed "See what I mean?" and then smirked. "It is very good, isn't it?" she commented in her turn.

I take a bite of the green tomatoes and say “Wait, it is missing something...”

The girls looked surprised. "Oh?" one of them said.

“Yes.” I reply, taking another bite and chewing slowly. Then it hits me “I forgot two very special ingredients. I forgot the salt and pepper...”

The girls giggled. "Oh we have that covered." said Lina as she got up to get them from the counter.

I take the shakers and sprinkle them over the tomatoes, just right. Then on the ones on your plates, then I sit down and wait again for your opinion.

The girls giggled. "Such service." said Lina. "Well, that's a mother for you!" enthused Gracia. They ate and admitted there was an improvement in the taste.

“Thank you girls, for the complements on my cooking. It warms my heart to the very soul.” I try it and agree that it is perfect, then I ask “Gracie, how was your day at work today?”

"Stiff and sore, sitting around at the table working on the fancy bead work for the dress. Oh well, at least it wasn't my turn to do the buttonholes, those things are SOOOO fiddly." she replied. "My poor hands hurt and I have to go back tomorrow..."

“Well, if you want, after supper I could massage your hands for you dear, seeing as my magic is not fully back to full power. I was barely able to heal my finger after I cut it really bad cutting the potatoes for supper. I can't wait for the day after tomorrow.”

"Oh? What's that?" asked Gracia, as Naga took one of her hands, and Lina took the other.

"Friday, of course!" smirked Lina.

“I will be rid of this curse, till next month. Lina wants me to come with you girls to the town dance Friday.”

"Oh, that would be wonderful!" said Gracia with a smile. "Yes do come, it's ever so much fun!"

“But I haven't danced in 3 years and I only danced for my Lina.”

Gracia smiled. "Well, think of it as practice for the day you can do it again!" she said. Lina nodded.

“But I don't want to embarrass myself in front of others, dear.”
"Oh. Well, don't you want to go then? "she asked. “What if we practiced somehow?"

I would love to get some practice before then, Gracie that would be so nice of you girls.”

"Okay, well, after our supper settles let's do It." said Gracia. "What shall we do in the mean time?" Lina spoke up. "I think mom was going to tell us something." she said.

“Yes, but it was you, Lina, that wanted to talk to me about it, sweetie...”

Gracia looked back and forth between the two of them, wondering what the surprise was.

“The reason I didn't stay in the castle is if I had stayed in the castle I would have truly went crazy knowing that I had let mommy be killed to save me.”

Gracia said "Oh, you want to talk about your mommy? Okay. Good. I have your memories, but something’s don't come across the same if you weren't actually there... But I remember you running out in fright from the assassin, and you didn't know your mother was even close by. I know you say it is your fault, but, I don't understand why you feel that way. Can you tell me that part?" she asked.

“Well, if I had run back when I first heard mommy scream I could have saved her.”

"Well, but you were scared, and it took you a few seconds to realize what was happening. How could you have gone back? And you did, eventually, that’s how you killed the murderer, isn't it?" said Gracia.

“But I could have saved her if I had run back sooner.”

"You think that, but how can you know for sure?" asked Gracia.
“I could have healed her sooner than I did. I was to late when I tried.”

"How do you know the assassin might not have gotten you as well?" asked Lina.

“I don't know if I would have died that night or not but I felt that I would have been a big help to mommy...”

"Oh, I'm sorry..." said Gracia.”You don't need to say anymore if it hurts too much..."
No I am fine now girls I need to talk about it
"Okay, mommy." said Gracia, getting up. "Here, have a hanky." she said, getting some down from a shelf. "One for you too, Lina, and one for me, I bet we are going to have a good cry about this. But that's okay, right?" Lina nodded.

“Yes, it is ok dear.” I take the hanky and prepare for my heart wrenching ordeal to start.

The shadow girls became quiet, willing to listen without interrupting.

“Well girls I am ready for your questions...”

Gracia said "So, um, I only have memories, what was it like to actually be hugged by mommy?"

“It was like being hugged by the ultimate love, a love so strong that they would die for you in a second without thought for their own life.

"Isn't that motherhood?" she asked.

“Yes but to be able to feel all that love in just a hug it is overwhelming you never want her to let go of you because you feel safer in her arms than even in a bunker that could still stand after 100 dragon slaves without a scratch.”

"A hundred Dragon Slaves?" said Lina quietly, feeling a little boggled at the concept.

“Yes that is how safe I felt in mommy’s hugs.”

Gracia nodded. "I see. How about Daddy?"

“Well daddy is a major pacifist but he would fight to his last breath for you, and his hugs can rearrange your back fast and put you in bed for a week...”

Lina giggled. "Someday, after too much weeding, I could use that..." Gracia smiled. "Actually he did that once, didn't he?"

“Yes.” I nod. “That’s how I know about that, that is not an exaggeration Lina dear.”

"Well, and let's not forget little sister Amelia.”Hey, you don't happen to have fragment of the mirror do you, mommy? Maybe you could make a shadow Amelia for us?" said Gracia.

“Oh gods no, that’s all you need is the opposite of Amy-Chan. Last I saw her she was super clumsy and a bigger justice freak than Daddy.”

Gracia broke out laughing. Lina said "So she'd be a graceful little sneak is what you are saying???"

“No, I have no Idea what she would be, but I am afraid to find out so lets not test it out, ok.”

Lina nodded. Gracia sighed, and said "Oh well..."

“Good try baby, but...” I said as I shivered at the possibilities of a copy Amelia...* “...not a good idea. I mean you can't get more goody two shoes than Amy-Chan so her copy would probably be more evil than Shabranigdo on a bad day...”

Lina shuddered. Gracia just sighed. "Okay..." she said.

“What's wrong dear, am I not good enough?”

"No, no, I just occasionally wonder if I will ever meet these people I remember so well, but have never actually met..." she said.

“Yes, you will at the spa, because after I tell them about you I will bring them to you, and you will get to meet them yourself.”

"Okay..." said Gracia, with a far away look in her eyes.”Yeah, about that, we haven't seen it yet, what can you tell us about this place? Like, what's it look like?"

“Well...” I get up and draw a portrait of it for you to see what it looks like. It looks like a ancient oriental hot spring of legendary quality.”

Lina's eyes bugged out "Kawaiiiiii..." she said, little hearts in her eyes.
Gracia looked more critically. "If those are the curtains for real, that pattern has to go..."

“Well, it is our place, so it is for us to decorate anyway we wish Gracie, so go nuts over it.”

"Nut's, hmmm, that would be an interesting motif..." mused Gracia.”

Oh, you and nuts, you always like nuts, remember the last holiday?" sighed Lina.

"But... nuts are so cute..." pouted Gracia. “Besides, I thought you liked them..."

"I do, to eat, and they are cute, but, could we have them as part of a mix, not the central theme next time?" replied Lina.

"Oh! That's mean. You mean you were lying when you said you liked the decorations?" asked Gracia, obviously hurt.

"No, no, no... Look, I said that before you filled the whole house with them... oh, forget it, I'm not trying to fight, it was just a comment and it's obviously gone the wrong way. Sorry..." said Lina with a sigh. Gracia said nothing, but obviously still pouted.

“No girls, I meant go crazy with ideas, not to go with nuts, it is a metaphor...”

The girls looked at each other, and then they started to giggle. They did squabble, but usually didn't stay mad for long.

“Are we ok now? Well that is definitely one of the things you do different than me and my Lina. Gods, I know she is still mad at me.”

The girls smiled. "Oh we do this all the time, you'll get used to us, mommy." said Gracia.

“Well, it was a first for me to see. At least you two don't throw spells at each other and call each other names like we did.” I say this with a solemn look on my face.

Gracia smiled. "Actually, since you and Lina like to use magic all the time, we rarely use it at all..."

“Yes, I noticed.” I rub my head from earlier when I fainted and had my head hit the coffee table while being dragged to my bed roll. “Lina forgets she has magic...”

"Oh? Did you hurt your head, mommy" asked Gracia.

“Ask your sweetie there what she did when I cut my hand and fainted because I don't know.”

“Uh, I put her to bed..." said Lina. "Huh?" said Gracia.

“I think you forgot your magic, and my head hit the coffee table dear.”

Lina just blushed an "Oops...”

“Yeah well I am fine dear, so yeah what’s it going to be decorated in Gracie?”

"Oh, I won't know till I get there and fight with Lina about it. I have to see it first to get my real inspiration..." "No nuts..." teased Lina. “Oh, stop sounding like a squirrel in an oak forest already, Lina, sheesh..." laughed Gracia. “No, those would be acorns...” teased Lina.

“Oh, I almost forgot something I had in my cape, let me get it, ok girls?” I get up and walk to my cape and get a vial out and pour a glass for all three of us. “Cheers.” I hand them out to you two and tell you that it is mead, so drink up.

Lina sniffed. "Honey wine? Okay. We should get some bees maybe, Gracia." She sipped it. Gracia treated it like a shooter...

“Ahhh! Girls that’s not wine, that’s liquor, so be careful with it.”

Gracia's face was already glowing. "Oh my, I have work tomorrow, please, no more. But it is so good..."

Lina chuckled. "Serves you right... But it is good!"

I just shake my head as I think about the fact that it is 150 proof, or more, and how hard it is going to hit Gracie, as fast as she gulped it down.

“Lina, we might want to put her to bed now before she really feels it.

“You know it!” Gracia hiccoughed and giggled. "It was too smooth though..." she protested.”I didn’t know it was so strong."

Lina sighed. "Obviously we aren't used to the hard stuff... And she's right; she has work in the morning..."

*I giggle softly as I look at my plastered daughter and smile. “Well this ought to be fun” I think to myself.

Lina said to Gracia "Do you need to lie down?" Gracia smiled, "Not yet, but no more tonight. If you want me to get drunk so you can have your wicked way with me, do it tomorrow. Oh wait, I won't be able to dance then and Mommy won't have a chance to meet someone. Maybe better hold off till next week? Oh I don't know, am I making sense?" "No." said Lina.

“You are making perfect sense to me baby.” I say with a giggle. “Do you want some help Lina, getting her to bed?” I sip lazily on my glass of mead, knowing to pace myself.

Lina shrugged. "She seems okay to go or stay on her own right now." she said, drinking more of her own drink.

“So do you like it? It sure cost a good bit.”

Lina chuckled. "It's good, but didn't you say you went broke buying the Spa?"

“This I have been carrying around for 3 months, Lina. And the spa was only 40,000 gold and I got them to go down to 4000 gold, so I did real well don't you think?”

Gracia and Lina exchanged glances. "That's a hell of a discount..." said Lina, slowly. “What's wrong with it, is it haunted?" asked Gracia.

“No. I laughed at there price and they slashed it to that and said “Take it, just please don't laugh...”

"Oh, that's right..." said Gracia, blushing at the thought.

“Now, was that fair?" said Lina.

“Yes it was, baby. I could have had daddy pay the tab you know.”

Lina looked unsure. Unlike real Lina, Shadow Lina had an almost Amelia like sense of misplaced justice. Gracia shrugged. "Oh well, if they were willing to settle for that, what can we do?"

“If I had laughed a bit more I might have been paid to take it, so I think it was fair, Lina.”

"Well, okay, not like I can do anything about it, either." she said.

“My laugh is infamous through out the land! Gracie! I want to hear you do the laugh just once, can you do that for mommy?”

"N-N-NOOO!!" panicked Gracia. "Not that please!!!”

I give her the biggest puppy dog eyes ever know to be given as I ask “Please just one time for mommy?”

"But, but, but..."

Lina laughed, helpfully...

“Please Gracie? If you do I will never laugh like that again for as long as I live...”

Gracia cringed. She didn't want to, but she didn't want to disappoint her mommy. "I-Ill tries..." she said finally... Lina laughed out loud. "Oh mom, its okay don't make promises we all know you won't keep..."

“I hereby swear on my royal birth right that I, Princess Gracia Ul Naga Seyruun will never as long as I live use my laugh, or I will denounce myself as a Princess.”

"But you already did, by running away..." said Gracia.”Or so you thought at the time. I remember, remember?" she added. "Oh, it doesn't matter, just do the laugh, its funny" smirked Lina. Gracia frowned a bit, and then sighed. "That's why I hate doing it... Oh well, here goes..."

"OOOHOhoho... cough, cough, cough... gasp..."

Lina laughed. "I'm so sorry, but it's so funny, you're turning blue!" Gracia frowned at her while trying to get her breath back.

“That’s ok dear thank you for trying for me, and as I swore from now on I will not laugh like I do around you girls.” I get up and hug you both.

"But, it's your trade mark though..." said Gracia.”It's her choice." soothed Lina.

“But baby I am not the same woman I was now am I?”

"I, I don't really know, you've changed, but how much? It's only been a few days since you got here.” said Gracia.

“Well, I bought the spa so that I could give back to the world for one. For two I am now able to speak about mommy freely. For three, well I love both of you like mommy loved me, I would gladly would give my life to protect you two from harm.”
Lina blinked. "At a Spa? You sure it isn't haunted?" she gulped.

“Yes, I am sure, do you think it would have cost 40,000 gold if it was?

Lina said "How do I know???" Gracia gave another hiccough.

“If it was haunted it would have been much less, and anyway, Amy-Chan can cure the problem if it is.”

"Okay, that's true." said Gracia. "Anyway, we won’t know until we get there..." she said as well.

”So, who wants to dance?" asked Lina, changing the subject.

“Ummmm sure...” I get up nervously and get into position.

Gracia blinked. "Oh well, I'm still feeling the drink, you two do it." she said.

"Sure." replied Lina going over to Naga.

“Ummmm well, this will make it a little more comfortable to dance with you Lina-Chan.” I take your hand then starts to dance, very badly.

"Lina-Chan???" said Lina, and then she giggled. "Now, now, don't get us mixed up..." Lina had to step fast to avoid having her feet stepped on. "N-no wait, let's try this..." she said. She explained some of the steps to Naga, and then they practiced again, slowly...

Still very rusty I try to dance. I manage to step on your feet, twice. “I am so sorry Lina...”

Lina gritted her teeth and managed to avoid yelling "Ouchy, Ouchy...". She said “No, no, you tense up all the time, that's why this is so hard for you, just try to relax, it's just walking, with style..." she explained.

Pouts as I try again getting better slowly as I knock out some of the rust.

Eventually they started moving better. "Hey, you are beginning to look like dancers!" encouraged Gracia.

“Hand me my glass Gracie.” I ask as I wink to Lina like “watch this...”

Gracia does so. "Okay. Mommy, here you go."

I grab the glass and slam it back and grab Gracie and start to dance gracefully with her.

Gracia gave a little scream at being grabbed, but she managed to sort of dance with Naga. Lina found the sight of two women who looked exactly alike so amusing she couldn't help but break out in giggling.

I twirl Gracie to Lina so that you two can dance while I go change my pad and bathe.

Lina recovered nicely and caught Gracia in mid twirl and the dancing went more smoothly...

I go to the lake to clean up and come back refreshed and I join back in on the dancing with Lina, a lot more gracefully this time, almost fluidly...
Lina and Gracia exchanged winks, suddenly they each reached out and grabbed Naga, pulling her up and making her join them in a three girl circle dance. Gracia began singing a lively little song and Lina giggled as they swept around in a circle...

“This is fun girls. I am so happy, and I got great news”.

"Great!" said Lina, making a pun...

“I am free of the monthly curse, I am so happy.”

"Great!" said Lina again, just because she could, while flashing a smile at Naga. Then at Gracia. "Gee, you two look so much alike..." she said.

“Want to see how else we are alike?” I say with a joking smile on my face as I dance along and sing in perfect harmony with Gracie.

"Better even!" enthused Lina, teasing Gracia who gave her a frown. And so the dancing continued for quite awhile.

As I dance I start to get hot and in mid dance step I undo my dress and dance in my undies with out missing a step or even tripping.

"Oh mommy!" said Gracia, turning her head in modesty. Well, some of it false modesty, but still... Lina tried to look away, but still felt drawn to Naga's body, so like her Gracia's, in every way. She couldn't help a blush coming to her cheeks. Hopefully the exertion of the dancing would cover for it...

“Oh girls, I know you like it, so stop hiding it, lets just dance and see what happens.” I tip the bottle up, take a strong pull from it of the mead, then offer some to Lina. “I have never felt so alive as I do tonight.”

Gracia tried to take a big drink because Naga could, and ended up coughing, as usual. Lina laughed as she helped her stop and said, "Face it, Gracia, if they want to know which one of you is the real Naga they'll have no trouble, just give you the drink test, he, he, he..."

“Tee hee, ain't that the truth.” I pass the bottle to Lina after another big pull from it.

Lina took a big drink. Actually she didn't have that much more luck than Gracia did, but darned if she was going to let that stop her. Gracia did manage to stick her tongue out at Lina as she coughed.

“Yes now it’s a party and the night is still very young, so while you girls dance and drink I will whip up something for us to eat ok girls?”

"I think I'm going to sit down actually," said Gracia. They don't have so many lively dances usually, too many couples wanting to slow dance." With that she plopped down on a chair, panting away. Lina sat down too, rather flushed and sweaty. She giggled to Gracia "Aw, don't I make you exercise enough any more?" she asked.

“I wouldn't mind putting you two through my Lina’s special exercise training program I used with her.” I say from the kitchen with a very quiet snicker hopping you to caught on to that, and that you girls have drunk enough to be more willing.

"Ugh, is that the one where you run while she pitches fireballs at you? Or the one where she runs away faster than you can catch up?" asked Gracia. "Yeah, you two sure did a lot of running away from each other." added Lina.
Snickers a little louder to where you girls can hear me as I say “Nope, you sweeties are on the wrong track...” in a way that it starts to dawn on you what I am getting at.

Lina asked "Well, if it isn't the running, was it where you'd have the big magic fights with Lina then?" "No way!" said Gracia. "You always lost those, I don't want to get hurt like that for real, your memories are bad enough!"

“Nope, still wrong dears.” I start to laugh louder because I can't believe you two still haven't caught on. “Do you girls need a hint?”

Lina and Gracia looked at each other and shrugged. "Okay, I guess we do..." one of them said...

I start to moan saying “...oh Lina...” “Is that a big enough hint?”

"Yes? Uh, what?" said Lina, puzzled... Gracia blinked...

Did Gracie get it? I finish cooking and bring the food out to you and already on the plates

"You want Lina for something. I thought we were talking about exercise?" she said, confused as ever...

After I sit your plates of food down I tell you two to close your eyes and wait for a big surprise.

The girls shrugged and did so...

I silently walk over and passionately kiss Lina with tongue after saying that no matter what don't open your eyes, then I walk over to Gracie and kiss her passionately with tongue, just like my Lina did to me.

Lina fought the urge, just barely, as Naga kissed her, and kept her eyes shut.

Gracia had more trouble and her eyes actually flickered open. But she shut them again. Both the girls were either confused after that, not sure how to take this sudden display of obviously non maternal affection.

“Now you may open your eyes. Now do you get what exercise I was referring to my girls?”

The girls opened their eyes and looked at Naga, blinking. Gracia put a hand to her lips, and said "Uh, mommy? I guess that can get the heart racing, but, uh, I don't get it..." Lina however, sat there, looking stunned, or deep in thought...

“Sweetie, I wasn't just talking about stopping at the kiss, silly...”

Gracia sat bolt upright. "Wh-what do you mean then?" she asked. Lina seemed deeper in thought, like maybe she was cluing in, but didn't know what to do about it.

I whisper in Gracia's ear “What do you and Lina do to each other that you do with no one around?” I say, very erotically. “I go and say the same thing into Lina's ear with even more lust, but still whispering.

Gracia pondered as Lina flushed. She whacked Gracia. "She's talking about, you know... exercise, yeah, that works, he, he, he..." Gracia flushed, stuttered, then realized it was a joke and finally started to titter too...

I laugh hard and long at this "Oh Ho teee hee hee hee hee heehe"

The girls giggled along with her, smutty and guiltily at the same time...

“So did you girls like my special kiss I gave you?”

"Oh, was it special?" teased Lina. "I, don't think I could tell, not from that little bit..."

"Oh Lina!" gasped Gracia...

“Shall I demonstrate,my "little girl”? Just a little more for you, just how special it is?

Lina giggled, taking it as a joke. Gracia was rather silent, but eventually said "okay..."

I walk over to her and straddle her legs and plant the most passionate kiss right full on the lips, proving my point, and doing the same to the other one, making it look like its the liquor doing it, then I sit down and start to go about eating the little snack I cooked...

Lina closed her eyes for real this time. She said nothing, but some kind of wheels were spinning around. Gracia just sat there, rather lost in thought, or...

something...

“What, are you girls not hungry? I cooked this food for everybody, so please, eat, I am begging you, it is very good, just like everything else I cook...”

Gracia smiled. "Uh, sorry, yes, yes I am hungry." she said and got up. "Coming Lina?" she asked. The petite girl shook herself awake and also went to the table. She was still rather silent.

The dish in front of you girls, I hope you like it. It may be a quick meal but it is something...”

The girls began to eat, and Naga was right, it was good, and soon there was a lot of happy eating noise going on...

“I am sorry if I came on as to forceful girls I was just trying to show you just how much I love you.”

"Well, it was unexpected, that was for sure ..." said Gracia. "But, maybe we could work out an, um, exercise program based on that, um, particular move..." teased Lina...

I look at Lina with my hand beside my face to hide what I am saying and I say “and quite a few more moves that I have perfected along the way, tee hee...”

"Huh?" asked Lina. "P-pardon?" asked Gracia, neither having heard the words, but knowing Naga had said something...

While my hand is still in place I do a licking twirl with my tongue to mimic licking a pussy and clit...

Lina looked at Naga and blinked. She saw... something, but wasn't sure what to make of it. Gracia saw nothing, and was unsure of what the silence meant, so she went back to eating.
I mouth the words “Eating you out with my tongue...” to Lina so it finally clicks.

Lina flushed and looked away. "H-how's the food Gracia?" she asked, trying not to be nervous. "I think it's great, myself!" she added as her lover looked over curiously. "Oh yes! Mommy is a wonderful cook. All those months in the kitchen after her moth... oh... oops..." she said.

“It's ok my dear, you can say it. After mommy died I got very good at cooking.”

"Well, but its true." said Gracia. You had to do something with all your grief and energy and you threw yourself into every domestic kind of chore there was to do, anything to keep busy. It taught you, and through that, me, a lot of important domestic skills, and I'm glad of that part. But I do wish you'd learned under nicer circumstances..."

“As do I, dear, but it was that and magic that saved me for so long, till daddy took the magic away, and that was when I ran away from home.” I finish up my snack and mead then I go to my bed roll and cover up and act like I am going to sleep, even though I am so horny! I lie there for awhile. “Good night girls, sweet dreams tonight.”

"Thanks mom!" said Gracia, as she took Lina's hand and went to the bedroom. Lina followed, looking a bit confused as she glanced back at Naga. More than once...

I blow Lina a kiss and wink...

Once they are in their room I set to work to letting off some build up passion, kneading away at my clit and breast even fingering my self with 3 fingers, moaning louder and louder to the point of almost screaming as I cum at least 10 times before I clean up a little and drift off to bed.

Lina gave a little sweat drop as she entered the room, seeing Naga's kiss. And later, she knew what the sounds were being caused by. Gracia was almost silent when she had her time, and never could do it more than once. Lina snuggled close to her love, but it was a long time before she could actually sleep...
